     Jacob Pieterszen was baptized on 18 September 1678 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Reynier Willemszen and Tryntie Reyniers; father Jacob Pieterszen, mother Marritie Brouwers.)^2,3,4

     Jan Pietersen was of the Woestijne when he married.⁴ He was baptized on 4 October 1654 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Hendrick Willemszen and Marretie Claes; father Pieter Van Naerden, mother not listed.)^1,5 He married Anna Pieterse Borsboom, daughter of Pieter Jacobs Borsboom.^6,7,8 Jan Pietersen died on 8 April 1725 at Schenectady.^4,7

     Jan Pietersen was a wheelwright.⁹ He made a will on 3 April 1725. It was probated on 13 Sep 1725. He was of Schenectady. He mentions his eldest son Peter, second son Jacob, youngest son Abraham, and daughter Margaret; mentioned 7 daughters, but only lists Margaret by name.^7,10,4
     While many sources have Jan Pieterse Van Naarden and Jan Pieterse Mebie as the ancestor of both the Mabie and the Van Orden Family, they are NOT the same. See Konight in the Archivist (1997).
     Another error is a death date for Jan (husband of Elizabeth Rees) of 29 Aug 1733 in either Bergen or NYC. Bergen Deaths has Johannes Pietersen on 29 Apr 1733 (#265), but this is neither in BC-Families Mabie, Van Norden, or Van Orden File, nor in Konight. The Mabie and Van Orden File have the same bp. (4 Oct 1654, NY) and death (8 Apr 1725, Schenectady) dates for the both Jan Pieterszen!! However, Jan P. Mabie made a will in Schenectady, and at least the death date belongs to him. No mother is listed at baptism, so that remains a mystery.^{11,12,13,14,15} Name variation: Jan Mabie. Name variation: Jan Pieterse Mebie.⁶

     Jan Pietersen was born at New Amsterdam.¹ He was baptized on 4 October 1654 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Hendrick Willemszen and Marritie Claes; father Pieter Van Naerden, mother not listed.)^2,3 He married Elizabeth Rees, daughter of Andries Rees and Celitje Jans (?), circa 1673 at New York City (NY Lutheran Church.)⁴

     Delahant file has Willem as son of Jan Pieters Van Naarden and Elizabeth Rees Van der Lipstaadt, b. 1693 in Bergen, NJ. The bp. date of his supposed father Jan Pieterse Van Naarden is the same as that of Jan Pieterse Mabie, son of Pieter Caspersen Mabie/Van Naarden. This file has the marriage date as 3 Jan 1719, which is no doubt a transciption error.
     The Van Orden Genealogy on Schenectady History (Reynolds) has William as the immigrant (imm. 1670 on 'The Arms of Norway), marrying Temperance in 1716 (which seems late), with children William (c. 1717, m. Sarah DuBois), Margaret (bp. 23 Jan 1726, m. Jean Baptiste Dumond), John (b. 26 May 1727, m. Catherine Dubois), Elizabeth (bp. 29 June 1729, m. David Dumont), Ignatius (bp. 4 Feb 1731, m. (1) Annetie Oosterhoudt, (2) Sara Mynderse), Pieter (bp. 9 Dec 1732), and Sarah (bp. 1735).
     BC-Families and Konight have William and Temperance married in Hackensack on 1 Mar 1719. He was son of Jan Van Orden (bp. date same as Jan Pieterse van Naarden) and Lysbeth Andries Rees. Children: Margaret (23 Jan 1726, Kingston), Elizabeth (29 June 1729, Kingston), Jan (b. c. 1730, m. Elizabeth Gardenier), Peter (9 Dec 1732 Catskill). These children (except Jan) have the same bp. dates as in Reynolds.^5,6,4,7
     While many sources have Jan Pieterse Van Naarden and Jan Pieterse Mebie as the ancestor of both the Mabie and the Van Orden Family, they are NOT the same. See Konight in the Archivist (1997).
     Another error is a death date for Jan (husband of Elizabeth Rees) of 29 Aug 1733 in either Bergen or NYC.      Jannetje Pieterse was born circa 1657 at Gelderland (4 y.o in imm. record.)^3,4,5,6,7,8 She married Helmigh Van Houten, son of Roeloff C Van Houten and Gerritje Cornelise Van Ness, on 2 October 1676 at Bergen, NJ, (DRC.)^1,4,9 (Banns on 3 September 1676. He was Helmigh Roelofs, ym from Bergen; she Jannetje Pieters, yd from Gelderland.)⁴ Jannetje Pieterse died on 7 October 1729.¹ She was buried on 9 October 1729 in Bergen.¹

     It is unclear, why Helmigh and his wife have the exact same death and burial date. Only Helmigh is listed in HSYB. Name variation: Jannetje Marselis.^10,11 Married name: Van Houten.

     Jannetje Pieters was baptized on 3 October 1687 at Bergen, NJ, (DRC) (sponsors: Johannes Steynmets and Pryntje Magielse, wife of Adries Claesen; father Pieter Hesselse, mother Elysabet Gerrits.)^3,1,4 She married Barent Barentse Van Horn, son of Barent Christian Van Horn and Geertie Dircks, on 23 February 1712 at Bergen (DRC.)^3,5

     Name variation: Jannetje Pietersen Hessels.³ Married name: Van Horn.

     Jeuriaen Pieters was baptized on 3 March 1658 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Jan Janszen Van Rommen, Nicolaes Velthuysen, and Tryntie Jans; father Pieter Jansz Romen, mother Marie Jeuriaens.)¹ He died before 15 November 1662.²

     Name variation: Jurriaen Romen.³

     Jeurie Pieterse married Antie Van Wagenen, daughter of Hendrick Gerritse and Margrietje Straatmaker, in 1729.^1,2,3

     Johannes Pieters was baptized on 25 March 1680 at Bergen (DRC) (sponsors: Johannes Magielse, ym and Metje Dirckse Braack, yd; father Pieter Hesselse, mother Elysabet Gerritse.)^1,3 He married Annetie Tades, daughter of Tades Michielszen and Anna Steynmets, on 27 May 1710 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)^4,5

     Johannes Pieters was baptized on 22 November 1676 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Jan Pieterszen and Annetie Thomas; father Pieter Wesselszen, mother Gosyntie Thomas.)³ He married Hendrickje Ten Eyck, daughter of Tobias Ten Eyck and Aeltje Duyckinck, on 4 March 1704 at New York City (DRC.)^4,5,6,7,8 (with license; Johannes Van Orde and Hendrica Ten Eyk; reg. On 3 March 1704.)⁴

     Laurens Pieterszen was from Tonsbergen in Noordwegen when he married.² He married Annetje Pieters on 18 August 1641 at New York City (DRC) (He was Laurens Pieters, jm from Tonsbergen, in Noordwegen; she Annette Pieters, jd from Brutseen, in Duytslant.)^3,2

     Leffert Pieterse married Abagail Van Nuyse, daughter of Auke Jans and Magdalena Pieters.¹ Leffert Pieterse died on 19 July 1748.²

     Konight and BC-Families Van Norden File has Isaac married to Marritie Pieterse Wessels, daughter of Pieter Wesselsen and Josyntje Thomas; Blauvelt File has him married to Maria, daughter of Pieter Hessels and Lysbeth Gerrits.
Maria was from New York, when she married; as Maria (Pieter Wessels) was bp. in NYDC, and Maria (Pieter Hessels) was bp. in Bergen, it seems likely that the first Maria married to Isaac.^7,8,9,10 Name variation: Merritje Pieters.^3,4 Married name: Van Houten.

     Maritie Pieters was from N. Yorck when she married.³ She was baptized on 27 June 1649 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Jan Evertszen Bout, Johan Smout, Marie Lievens, and Marie Cornelis; father Caesar Albertus, mother Marie.)^4,5 She married Jan Pieterszen Bandt on 8 April 1671 at New York City (DRC) (He jm; she jd from N. Yorck.)^6,7,8

     Maritie Pieters was listed in the NYDRC member list of 1686 as Marritje Pietersen, wife of Jan Pieterszen (name 598, 599; member 477.)⁹ Name variation: Maritie Alburtis.¹ Name variation: Maritie Burtis.¹

     Marretien Pietersen was baptized on 12 September 1652 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Adriaen Dircksen, Marritie Lievens, and Lysbeth Cregiers; father Pieter Casparszen, mother not listed.)^1,3,4

     She may have married Hendrick Brouwer, there was a child baptized in 1695 in Schenectady.^5,2 Name variation: Marretien Pieters Mabie.

     Marritie Pieters was from N. Yorck when she married.² She was baptized on 25 February 1674 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Karsten Luurzen and Geertie Theunis; father Pieter Wesselszen, mother Josyntie Hoboken.)^1,3 She married Isaac Blauvelt, son of Gerrit Hendricksen Blauvelt and Marie Lamberts, on 2 June 1693 at New York City (DRC.)^4,5,2 (Banns on 5 May 1693. He was Isaac Gerritszen, jm from N. Yorck; she Maria Pieters, jd as above, the first living at Tappan, the second here.)²

     Marritie Pieters and Isaac had one son. He was under 10 in the 1702 Otange County, NY census (acc. to a note, attributed to L. Blauvelt).⁶

     Marya Pieters was from Amsterdam in N. Nederlant when she married.³ She was baptized on 19 April 1643 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Philip Graer, Claes Van Elslant, Susanna Roelofs, and Marritje Philips; father Pieter Pias, mother not listed.)^1,4,5 She married Myndert Coerten on 9 January 1660 at New York City (DRC) (He was Meynart Courten, Soldier, from Aernhem; she Maria Pieters, jd from Amsterd. in N.      Metje Pieterse was from Bergen when she married.³ She was baptized on 22 October 1670 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Jacob Luyden and his wife; father Pieter Hesselszen, mother Lysbeth Gerrits.)^4,1 She married Thomas Fransen Oudewater, son of Frans Jacobsen Oudewater, on 29 September 1706 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC.)^5,6,3,7,8 (Banns on 15 September 1706 at DRC, Bergen. He was Gerrit Gerrits, Jr., ym, from Wageninge in Gelderland; she Niesje Pieters, yd, from Beest in Gelderland. Received certificate to New York, May 11.)⁷ Neesje Pieterse died on 9 October 1732.¹

     He had 6 children baptised, the mother is never mentioned. The marriage records for this time are missing.^1,2

     Paulus Pieterszen was from Merven, in 't Stift Colen (prob. Cologne) when he married.^2,3 He married Tryntje Martens on 1 September 1658 at New York City (DRC) (He was Paulus Pieterszen, from Merven, in 't Stift Colen; she Tryntje Martens, from Aken in 't landt van Gulick.)^4,1 Paulus Pieterszen died on 18 December 1702.¹
