Our member Joseph Boyle started compiling this database around 2005, and unfortunately passed away in Jan 2017. He Is still sorely missed. In his memory we will be working hard to make it even better.

  1. We have restored the sources as much as possible, but no contact is provided for personal contact.
  2. We have improved the narratives, and combining duplicate people. A great help with that are the "Bergen County Families" files of another of our members, Pat Wardell; you can consult them at the Ridgewood library or request a file by emailing contact@njgsbc.org
  3. We have added online resources (links to GoogleBooks, Archive.org, Find-A-Grave, etc) if needed to resolve conflicts. Please check these yourself, do not take our data at face value!

In general, we do not have more information about these data than is displayed in the website. We no longer accept additios or corrections. Use these data as hints, not as gospel. Use at your own risk.

Please note that all of the family groups sheets and most of the files that were located at the Ridgewood Library have been discarded, due to space limitations. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but they are much more accessible through the database. Bible Records have been retained and can be consulted at the library.
