He was Claes Janszen Bogaert, jm from Betfort; she Belitje Van Schayck, jd from N. Yorck, the first living in N. haerlem and the second living here.)5 Nicholas Janszen Bogert (2) married Margaret Consilyea, daughter of Jean de Conselyea and Fytie Schut, on 23 February 1707 at New York City (DRC.)1,7 (Banns on 7 February 1707. He was Nicolaas Bogaars, Widower; she Grietje Jansse, wid. of Joh. V. Tilburg.)7 Nicholas Janszen Bogert died on 5 January 1727.8

     Nicholas Janszen Bogert made a will on 17 September 1726. It was proved 10 Feb 1726/7. He was Klaas Janse Bogert, of New York, baker. Names wife Margarettie; sons John (Jan, eldest), Cornelius, Hendrick, and Petrus; daughters, Cornelia, Mary, Elizabeth, and Annatie; my daughter-in-law Catharine Van Telbergh, now wife of Cornelius Turck, Jr. Executors: sons John and Cornelius, and my brothers-in-law Elbert Lieverse and Cornelius Turck, and my friend Jacob Goelet. Witnesses: Jeronimus Remsen, Peter Messier and Harmanus Vandewater.9,10
     According to Konight, Margrietje's name was Grietje Jans Consilyea.11 Name variation: Klaes Bogert.8 Name variation: Claas J Bogaert.12,11,2
