     Dot was an executive in the financial district of New York City for many years and later became a professional genealogist until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of the DAR, a founder and past president of the Genealogical Society of Bergen County, a life member of the Association of Blauvelt Descendants and a member of the David Ackerman Descendants.1
