     Ruloff De Kype was born between 1510 and 1520.1 He died on 13 March 1569 near Jarnac.2

Children
     Ruloff was an adherent of the Guises and took a prominent role in the civil war between the Protestants and Catholics. In 1562 his chateau was taken and he fled to Holland with his three sons. In 1569 he reentered France with his son Henri and joined the army of the Duke of Anjou. He was killed in the battle on 13 Mar 1569 and buried in a small church.
     After his father was killed son Henri entered the army of an Italian prince where he spent his life. He died unmarried.
     Son Jean Baptiste became a priest in the Church of Rome.2
