     Cornelis Van Duyn was born on 16 July 1664.¹ He (1) married Machtel Huyken at Brooklyn (DRC.)^2,3 (Banns on 3 January 1691. He was Cornelis Van Duyn, ym, b. New Amersfoort; Machtelje Huyken, ym, b. New Am- ersfoort, with consent of Gerrit Cornellisen Van Duyn, groom's father, his mother Jacquemintje Van Duyn, and Annitje Huyke, the bride's mother.)³ Cornelis Van Duyn (2) married Christina Gerbrands on 14 June 1714 at New York City (DRC) (with license; Cornelis Van Duyn and Styntje Gerbrands.)^4,5

     Denys Van Duyn married Maritie Huyken on 4 February 1691 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC) (Deonys Gerritse V. Duyn to Maritie Huyken (Buyckfie?)^2,3)

     Elizabeth Van Duyne was born on 13 April 1770.¹ She married Hartman I Vreeland, son of John H Vreeland and Judith.¹ Elizabeth Van Duyne died on 24 February 1862.¹ She was buried in DRC in Pompton Plains.¹

     Name variation: Elizabeth Van Dine.² Married name: Vreeland.

     Gerrit Van Duyn died before 1705 as he is not named in his father's will.¹

     Gerrit Van Duyn was born in 1691.¹ He married Antye Van Norstrand, daughter of Gerrit Hans and Jannetje Remsen.¹

     Gerrit Cornelis Van Duyn married Jacomyntie Swart, daughter of Jacob Hellakers and Aeltje Cornelis, in October 1663.^1,2 Gerrit Cornelis Van Duyn died before 14 June 1706.^1,3

     He was a carpenter or wheelwright by trade. From New Amsterdam he appears to have removed to Brooklyn. On 10 Aug 1670 he returned to Holland in the ship "Fort of Albany," and on 15 May 1671 , a pass was given to Jacomynchy, his wife, and her three children, in the ship "Duke of York,” to go to Holland. He and his wife kept house at Zwolle; but they returned in 1679 in the ship the "Charles." On his return he finally settled on a plantation or farm, located partly in the towns of New Utrecht and Flat bush.
     Jacomintie originally came to New Netherland on 31 Aug 1662 on the 'Fox' (Jacomijntie Jacobs, daughter of Jacob Swart.)^1,4,5 Gerrit Cornelis Van Duyn made a will on 30 June 1705. It was proved 14 Jun 1706. He was Garitt Van Duyn, of New Utrecht in Kings County. Names wife Jackominie; son Cornelius Van Duyn; son Denyse; daughter Ashe and her children; son Abraham. Son Cornelis to be executor. Witnesses: Henry Filkin, Peter Cortelyou, and Jan Van der Beck.^3,6
     Neeltje and her brother Gerrit Cornelisz Van Duyn came to New Netherland c. 1649.^7,8

     Hendrick M Van Duyne was baptized on 31 July 1767 at Pompton Plains, NJ, (DRC.)¹ He married Jannetje Vreeland, daughter of Claes Vreeland and Catrina Van Duyn.¹ Hendrick M Van Duyne died in 1838 (grave stone gives year as 1840 but will probated 30 Mar 1839.)¹

     Jacomyntie Van Duyn was born in 1700.¹ She married Reinier Vechten, son of Hendrick Claes Van Vechten and Gerritje Wizzel-penning.¹

     Jacomyntie Van Duyn was born circa 1704.² She married Samuel Berry, son of Samuel Berry and Catherine Ryerson.^2,1 Jacomyntie Van Duyn died before 1744.²

     Martin Van Duyn was baptized on 11 July 1698 at Flatbush, NY, (DRC.)² He (1) married Maria Themout in 1728.^3,4 Martin Van Duyn (2) married Jannetje Vreeland, daughter of Hartman Klaes Vreeland and Jannetje Jacobusse, on 3 April 1760 at Second River, NJ, (DRC) (Marte Van Duyn, widower, and Jannetie Vreelant, both from
Pequaneck, in Morris Co.)^5,6 (license on 31 March 1760.)¹

     There are some problems here: BC-Families has in Martin's father Abraham's entry that Martin (1) married Maria Themout, but did not give a second marriage; under his own entry Martin's wife is named Anna Maria DeMuth, also no second marriage. Daughter Catrina is listed with a marriage in her father's entry, and as unconnected with her marriage.⁴ Name variation: Matthew Martens Van Duyne.³

     Mary Van Duyne was born on 12 July 1793.¹ She was baptized at Pompton Plains, NJ, (DRC.)¹ She married Nicholas Vreeland, son of Hartman N Vreeland and Martha Van Riper. Mary Van Duyne died on 4 April 1864.¹ She was buried in DRC Cemetery in Montville.¹

     Married name: Vreeland.

     Matthy Van Duyn married William Brouwer, son of Jeury Brouwer and Elizabeth Hilton, in 1752.¹ Matthy Van Duyn died in 1783 at Rombout Precinct, Fishkill, NY, in his home on Wappinger Creek.¹

     Matthy Van Duyn made a will on 4 September 1782 at Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ.¹ Name variation: Meilitia Mathys Van Duyn.¹ Married name: Brouwer.

     Neeltje Van Duyn married Jacques Cortelyou.¹ Neeltje Van Duyn died before December 1695.³

     Neeltje and her brother Gerrit Cornelisz Van Duyn came to New Netherland c. 1649.^4,1 Name variation: Neeltje Van Dyne.⁵ Married name: Cortelyou.

     Adolph Van Duzer was born on 19 September 1762 at Cornwall, Orange County, NY.¹ He married Unice Coleman, daughter of Curtis Coleman, on 25 September 1783 at New Windsor, NY.¹ Adolph Van Duzer died on 26 December 1844 at Chemung County, NY.¹

     Catherine Sayre Van Duzer was born on 27 June 1850 at Horseheads, Chemung County, NY.¹

     Deborah Coleman Van Duzer was born in July 1799 at Mamakating Twp., NY.¹ She married Peter Kuykendall, son of Wilhelmus Kuykendall and Jane Gumaer, circa 1816 at Mamakating Twp., NY.¹ Deborah Coleman Van Duzer died on 2 April 1863 at Windham, Bradford County, PA.¹

     Isaac Van Duzer was born in 1721.² He married Jannetje Laroe.¹

     Juliet Van Duzer was born on 2 January 1796 at Cornwall, Orange County, NY.^1,2 She married William Finn Wheeler on 12 December 1813 at Warwick, Orange County, NY.^1,3 Juliet Van Duzer died on 2 April 1872.²

     Abraham Van Dyke was born on 22 January 1702.¹ He married Elizabeth.¹

     Agatha Van Dyck married Steven Coert Van Voorhis, son of Coert Stevense Van Voorhis and Marrietje Gerritse Van Couvenhoven.¹ Agatha Van Dyck died in 1753 at Gravesend, NY.¹

     BC-Families has date of first marriage as 1651, but the first child is not b. until 1674. His bp. in Amsterdam is in 1642!^3,2

     Annatie Van Dyke was born on 27 December 1727.¹ She was baptized at Schenectady, NY, (DRC) (Sponsors Helemes Feder and Annatie Mebie.)¹

     Annatie Van Dyke was baptized on 10 December 1748 at Schoharie (DRC) (sponsors: Jacob Swart and Anatie Siele.)^1,2 She married Harmanus Becker on 14 June 1767 at Schoharie, NY, (DRC.)^3,2 She died on 17 September 1828.⁴
