Grada De Vries's obituary appeared on 28 April 1994 in the Ridgewood News (pg. 12, col. 3.)1
According to the obituary, she immigrated in 1957. There are two passenger records for Grada (J) de Vries: 9 Oct 1954 on the Sibajak, and 8 Jan 1957 on the Rotterdam.
The obituary also states that her husband died in 1954. It seems likely that he died in the Netherlands, and that Grada came to visit her daughter in 1954, and later decided to stay. Deaths after 1950 are however not yet in Genlias, death notices can possibly be found at the CBG in The Hague (http://www.cbg.nl)
They are not listed in the Midland Park directory between 1954 and 1958. Roukens was also not listed.3 Her parents were Pieter van Maarleveld and Neeltje de Nobel.2
