     Hendrick Cuyler was born in 1637 at Hasselt, The Netherlands.¹ He married Anna Schepmoes, daughter of Jan Janszen Schepmoes and Sara Pieters.^2,3,4 Hendrick Cuyler died before 1896 as his wife was listed as widow at a baptism.⁵

     Johannes Cuyler was in 1696 a trader in NY and Mayor of Albany 1725-1726.¹

     Katrina Cuyler was born on 18 February 1709 or 20 February 1709.¹ She married Jacob Conraet Ten Eyck, son of Conraet Ten Eyck and Geertje Van Schaick, on 1 August 1736 or 17 August 1736.¹ Katrina Cuyler died on 22 November 1790.¹

     Rachel Cuyler was born in 1674.¹ She married Myndert Schuyler, son of David Pieterse Schuyler and Catalyn Ver Planck, on 26 October 1693 at New York City (DRC) (with license. He was Meynart Schuyler, jm from N. Albanien; she Rachel Cuyler, jd from same, both living here.)^2,1 Rachel Cuyler died in 1747.¹

     Theodore Cuyler was born on 14 September 1819 at Poughkeepsie, NY.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth DeWitt, daughter of Thomas DeWitt and Eliza Ann Waterman, on 21 December 1853 at New York City.^1,2,3 Theodore Cuyler died on 5 April 1876 at Philadelphia, PA.¹

     Theodore Cuyler was a lawyer.¹

     Thomas DeWitt Cuyler was born on 28 September 1854.¹ He married Frances Lewis, daughter of John Thompson Lewis and Maria Litchfield Scott, on 3 May 1881 at Philadelphia, PA.¹ Thomas DeWitt Cuyler died on 2 November 1922.¹

     Thomas DeWitt Cuyler attended Yale University in 1874. He and Frances had four children. Thomas DeWitt Cuyler was a lawyer in Philadelphia and Director of the Pennsylvania RR Co. He was also a trustee of Equitable Life Insurance Co. He received a LL.D. degree from Lafayette in 1916.

     Bastiaen was captured in the West Indies; and was manumitted in New Amsterdam on 21 Aug 1654. He received a patent on 26 Mar 1647. When he died, this land reverted to the Stuyvesant family, but Judith Stuyvesant, Peter's widow, transferred 3 acres to Franciscus by deed on 24 Sep 1674. Sometime before 24 Jun 1746 this land again reverted to the Stuyvesant family. Francisco was issued a grant of his own o York Island on 4 Sep 1686.² Name variation: Sebastian Van Angola.³

     John Dackerman was born in 1871 at New Jersey (Carrville at marriage.)^1,2 He married Isabella Freeland on 3 June 1897 at New York City (She was b. 1871 in Ireland, daughter of Georg Freeland and Margaret White.)²

     Samuel Dackerman was born in 1831 at Germany (Bavaria.)² He married Catherine Kober.³ Samuel Dackerman died on 1 October 1884 at Harrington Twp, NJ.¹

     The 1870 census lists Samuel Dackerman and Catherine at Harrington Township, Bergen County, NJ, with five children, the eldest two b. in Bavaria, the rest in NJ: George (8), Catharine (10), Elisabeth (3), Anna (2), and Caroline (8m). The father is 39, b. Bavaria, works in brickyard; the mother is 37, b. Bavaria. There are also three boarders, all work in the brickyard: Philip Swart (28, b. NJ), John Fenn (32, b. NJ) and Cesare Muzie (27, b. Italy.)⁴ The 1880 census lists Samuel Dackerman and Catherine at Harrington Township, NJ, with seven children, the eldest two b. in Bavaria, the rest in NJ: Catharine (22), George (19), Elisabeth (14), Anna (11), John (9), Ida (5), and Samuel (2). The father is 49, b. Bavaria, manufacturer; the mother is 44, b. Bavaria. There are also two boarders: Albert Germain (40, b. France, farm laborer) and Batio Bonari (50, b. Italy, farm laborer.)²

     Samuel Dackerman died 1 Oct 1884 at Harrington Township, leaving widow and 1 son (not named) (but if that is true, then it is a different Samuel.)¹ He had at least 2 more children, who died as infants. Daughter Anna might have been b. 15 Aug 1869, NYC and died 25 Nov 1935 in Queens, as Anna Dour, daughter of Samuel Dockerman and Kathryn Kober (but 1870 census is then off). Her spouse was John, and she is buried in St. John's Cemetery.^5,6,7 Name variation: Samuel Dockerman.²

     Marie Antoinette Dahm was born on 4 March 1859 at New York (parents born in France.)¹ She married Charles Greisch in 1890.^1,2 Marie Antoinette Dahm died on 26 November 1940.³

     The 1900 census lists Charles Greisch and Annette at Park Ridge (Washington Twp), Bergen County, NJ, with their children Genevieve, Edward C, Charlotte and Marguerite.¹ The 1910 census lists Charles Greisch and Marie at Park Ridge, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Genevieve, Edward, Charlotte, Marguerite, Evelyn, Ernest, Katherine and Charles. Charles is listed here as born in Holland, but speaking French.² Married name: Annette Greisch (1900 census.)¹ Married name: Marie Greisch (1910 census.)²

     Catharine Dailey was born on 24 October 1769.¹ She married Lewis Hardenbergh, son of Johannes Hardenbergh and Mary LeFevre.¹

     Hampton Jennings Dailey was born on 15 December 1906. He married Amelia Ruth Moretz, daughter of John Ambrose Lee Moretz and Cora Elizabeth Luther, on 19 October 1924. Hampton Jennings Dailey died on 2 April 1952.
