Bastiaen D'Angola1

     Bastiaen was captured in the West Indies; and was manumitted in New Amsterdam on 21 Aug 1654. He received a patent on 26 Mar 1647. When he died, this land reverted to the Stuyvesant family, but Judith Stuyvesant, Peter's widow, transferred 3 acres to Franciscus by deed on 24 Sep 1674. Sometime before 24 Jun 1746 this land again reverted to the Stuyvesant family. Francisco was issued a grant of his own o York Island on 4 Sep 1686.2 Name variation: Sebastian Van Angola.3

NJ) and Cesare Muzie (27, b. Italy.)4 The 1880 census lists Samuel Dackerman and Catherine at Harrington Township, NJ, with seven children, the eldest two b. in Bavaria, the rest in NJ: Catharine (22), George (19), Elisabeth (14), Anna (11), John (9), Ida (5), and Samuel (2).      Samuel Dackerman died 1 Oct 1884 at Harrington Township, leaving widow and 1 son (not named) (but if that is true, then it is a different Samuel.)1 He had at least 2 more children, who died as infants. Daughter Anna might have been b. 15 Aug 1869, NYC and died 25 Nov 1935 in Queens, as Anna Dour, daughter of Samuel Dockerman and Kathryn Kober (but 1870 census is then off). Her spouse was John, and she is buried in St. John's Cemetery.5,6,7 Name variation: Samuel Dockerman.2
