The two children of the marriage with Jan Nagel are a son named Jurrien Jansz Nagel, aged 5; and a daughter named Styntje Janzen Nagel, aged 2 1/2.9,10 Grietje Dircx and Barent had two more children bp. in Brooklyn: Johannes (11 Mar 1663, parents Barent Gerritsen and Geertie Dirckx; sp.      On 18 Dec 1658 Immetje, widow of Frans Klase, reports the death of her husband; she must submit an inventory of the estate.
     On 12 Feb. 1659 Immetje, widow of Frans Ch.sz, requests Jacob Jansen Moesman and Abraham De la Noy to act as guardians for her children. Frans Clasen left four minors : Claas Franzen, about 16 years old ; Jacob Franzen, 14 years ; Dirck Franzen, 12 years ; Fymen Franzen, 1½ years.7
     Immetie Dirx, widow of Frans Claesen, late shoemaker at New Amsterdam, confers powers of attorney upon her son Claes Fransen, about to depart for Holland, and to her brother-in-law Hendrick Jansen at Amsterdam, Holland, to demand of Jan Jansen, retail merchant in cheese and butter, what has been received by him by virtue of a power of attorney conferred by principal's husband on March 12, 1655, of the estate of Aefjen Jans. Witnesses: Nicolaes Boot and Jacob Vis.8
