     Elizabeth Henrietta Hubrath was born on 12 July 1899 at Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ.² She married Claude Abram Turse, son of Abram J Turse and Maude Della (Mandy) Blauvelt, on 14 September 1920 at Hoboken, NJ, (Trinity Church.)² Elizabeth Henrietta Hubrath died on 18 April 1990 at Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was buried in 1990 in Westwood Cemetery in Westwood.

     Adam Hubschmitt was born on 20 April 1829 at Bavaria, Germany.^2,1 He married Charlotte Schen. Adam Hubschmitt died on 8 April 1892 at 408 E 52nd Street, Manhattan, NY.^3,1 He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack.^1,3

     Adam Hubschmitt was the keeper of a livery stable.² The 1880 census lists Adam Hubschmitt and Charlotte at 325 East 10th Street at Manhattan, NY, with six children, all b. NY: Charlotte (14), George (11), John A (9), Otilia (7), Phillip (5), Adam (3), and William (Oct 1879.)² Adam Hubschmitt and Charlotte had six children, five living in 1900; but Find-A-Grave has a number of children that died young, and some are in the 1880 census, that are not on Find-A-Grave.^4,5,2 His parents were John W. Hubschmitt and Catherine. Both were born in Germany; and are buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack, in plot 30A.^3,6

     Adam W Hubschmitt was born on 27 September 1877 at New York (1900 census has Sep 1876.)^2,4,5 He married Maria Pottebaum, 23 (b. 1881, NYC), the daughter of George H Pottebaum and Wilhelmina Glock, on 8 June 1904 at Manhattan, NY.⁶ He died on 20 September 1916 at age 37.^1,2,3 He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack, Plot 30-A.^1,2,3

     According to Carshaw, he was a veteran of the Civil War serving in Company I, 71 Reg., NY Volunteers; but all records point to his birthdate being 1877, so he cannot be a Civil War Veteran. It could be his father, but I could find no records.^1,8 Name variation: Adam Wendell Hubschmitt.⁷

     Aeltje Hudde was baptized on 18 March 1640 at New York City (DRC) (no sponsors listed; father Andries Hudes, mother not listed.)^1,3

     Andries Hudde was born in 1609 at Kampen, Overijssel, The Netherlands, (Campen.)^1,2 He married Geertruyt Bornstra.¹ (Banns on 6 January 1639 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. NJ, listed as male), Mary Jane Hughes (4, b. NJ), and Andrew McBride (65, b. Ireland, laborer). Charles is 45, b. Ireland, farmer; Jane is 45, b. NJ.¹ The 1860 census lists Charles Hughes at Saddle River Township, NJ, with (all listed as born in Derry, Ireland) Adrain (sic!) Hughes (24), James Hughes (22), Christianna Hughes (19), and Mary Jane Hughes (14); Jeremiah Sheen (21, b. Cork, Ireland, farm laborer) and Mary Fitzpatrick (25, b. Queen, Ireland, servant). Charles is 55, b. Derry, Ireland, farmer.⁴ The 1870 census lists Charles Hughes at Saddle River Township, NJ, with (surname listed as Huges) James (25, b. NJ, works on farm) and Mary J (21, b. NJ, keeps house); and Carl Blaker (24, b. Prussia, farm worker). Charles is 66, b. Ireland, farmer.⁵

     The 1870 census lists Peter Huhm and Dora at New Barbadoes Twp, Bergen County, NJ, with five children, and seemingly with F.P. VanWetering with his wife Johanna. Joseph Van Wetering is livng next door; his son John Van Wetering lives a few doors down.¹

     Jantje Cornelia Huisman was born in 1870 at Texel, Noord Holland, The Netherlands.¹ She married Cornelius P Maas on 28 August 1890 at Texel, Noord Holland.¹

     Jantje C. Maas and Cornelius P Maas immigrated on 31 March 1909 on the Potsdam, from Rotterdam (Mar 20, 1909), arriving in New York on 31 Mar 1909, with seven children: Cornelis (17), Willemina Kl. (15), Klaartje W. (14), Jacob (10), Jannetje (9), Maria (8) and Johannes (1). They were going to his brother H. W. Verbaarschal, 17 Watson Street, Paterson. Last residence was Texel, contact his father Pieter Maas. (Note: William V is at most a brother-in-law.)² The 1910 census lists Cornelius P Maas and Jennie at 92 East Main Street at Paterson City (Ward 1), Passaic County, NJ, with eight children: Peter (19), Cornelius (18), Minnie (16), Clara (15), Jacob (12), Jennie (10), Marie (9) and John (2.)³ The 1920 census lists Cornelius P Maas and Jennie at 18 Struyk Ave at Prospect Park Borough, Passaic County, NJ, with three children: Jennie (20), Marie (19) and John (12), all born in NJ.⁴ Her parents were Pieter Huisman and Klaartje Witte.¹ Name variation: Jantje C.      Dieuwerke Huizenga was born on 27 January 1874 at Baflo, Groningen, The Netherlands.^2,1,3 She married Lebertus De Vries, son of Geert De Vries and Lena Broeils.^1,4

     Dorothy Huizenga and Lebertus De Vries immigrated in 1892.^4,3 The 1900 census lists Bert De Vries and Dora at 134 East Holsman at Paterson City (Ward 1), Passaic County, NJ, with his children Henry, Garret and Barney.⁴ The 1915 census lists Lebertus De Vries and Dora at Hawthorne Borough, Passaic County, NJ, with eight children Henry, Garret, Barney, Lena, Minnie, Freda, John and Martin.³ Name variation: Dieuwerke Huizenga.² Married name: Dora De Vries.⁵

     Hendrik Huizenga was born in 1847 at Den Andel, Baflo, Groningen, The Netherlands.¹ He married Jacomina Lammerts, daughter of Berend Lammerts and Dieuwerke Meertens van der Bank, on 25 March 1870 at Warffum, Groningen, The Netherlands.¹

     Hendrik Huizenga and Jacomina Lammerts immigrated on 4 June 1892 on the "Werkendam" from Rotterdam. They were going to Illinois. All the children, except Dorothy were with them.²
