     Wyntie Pieters Demarest was baptized on 9 January 1785 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)^4,3 She married Jacobus Demarest, son of Peter Demarest and Annatie Durie, on 29 October 1803 at Schraalenburgh (Dumont), NJ, (North Church (DRC.)^6,1) Wyntie Pieters Demarest died on 24 June 1830.^6,2

     Wyntie Pieters Demarest and Jacobus had also two daughters:
1. Rachel, b. 3 Jan 1804; single
2. Agnes, b. 18 Jan 1816; married (See BC-Families).^2,7 Name variation: Lavina Demarest.⁶

     Wyntje Demarest was born on 25 April 1789.¹ She was baptized on 10 May 1789 at Clarkstown, NY, (DRC.)¹ She married Gerrit Polhemus on 14 April 1806 at Tappan, NY, (DRC.)²

     Zietsche Demarest was born on 10 March 1748.^1,4 She was baptized on 13 March 1748 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)⁵ She married Cornelius A Bogert, son of Albert C Bogert and Sara Demarest.^1,3,6 Zietsche Demarest died on 11 September 1816 aged 68.6.1.^1,3,4 She was buried in French Burying Ground.³

     Berta Demharter was born on 30 May 1891 at Welden, Bavaria, Germany.¹ She married Frederich Johann Baptist Boeck, son of Johann Baptist Boeck and Barbara Huber, on 5 October 1919 at Illdorf, Bavaria, Germany.¹ Berta Demharter died on 20 June 1982 at Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.¹

     They had eight boys, only three survived. The family moved to Lauingen in 1926.¹ Married name: Boeck.

     Electa DeMont was born in 1833.² She married Peter D Vreeland, son of William Vreeland and Eleanor DeGraw.¹ Electa DeMont died in 1924.² She was buried in Baptist Cemetery (LaRue Rd & Clinton Rd) in Newfoundland.²

     Electa DeMont lived in 1908 at Newfoundland, NJ.³ Married name: Vreeland.

     Antje DeMott was born on 24 December 1711.² She married Jan Van Horn, son of Rutger Van Hoorn and Neeltie Van Vechten, in 1751.¹

     Cathlyntje DeMott was born in 1757.¹ She married Johannes D Hennion, son of David Hennion and Jacomyntje Kip.^4,5,1

     Cathlyntje DeMott and Johannes had four more children: David (b. 1778, d.y.), Jannetye/Jennie (b. 1783), Antje (1785-1855), and Johannes (b. 1787).¹ Married name: Hennion.

     Claesje De Mott was born in 1706.³ She married Cornelius Van Vorst, son of Cornelius Van Vorst and Feytje Gerrits, on 26 November 1726.¹

     Gertrude De Mott was born on 11 April 1857.¹ She married Walter V Carlock.² She died on 7 December 1905.¹

     Hendrick DeMott was born in 1710.³ He married Jannetje Van Wagoner, daughter of Johannes Gerrits and Catlyntje Helmigse Van Houten, on 30 October 1740.¹

     Hendrick DeMott made a will on 26 June 1798. Mentions children of daughter Catalymetie, late wife of John Hennion.⁴

     Jacob Demott was born in 1770.² He married Rachel Bogert in 1790.² Jacob Demott died in 1845.²

     Jacob DeMott died before 1703.¹ He married Maria Teunis.¹

     Jacob M DeMott was born in 1813.³ He married Jane Vanderbeck.² Jacob M DeMott died on 24 April 1880 at Rivervale (Washington Twp), NJ.^1,3 He was buried in Ridgefield Cemetery in Ridgefield.³

     The 1850 census lists Jacob M DeMott and Jane at Hackensack Township, Bergen County, NJ, with (on the next page), all b. NJ: Martin (10), John Jacob (7), Sarah (3), David Henry (8m), and Sarrah (65). Jacob is 37, b. NJ, farmer; Belinda is 30, b. NJ. They are in the same house as John M DeMott, and next door to Mary DeMott.⁴ The 1860 census lists Jacob M DeMott and Jane at New Barbadoes Township, Bergen County, NJ, with, all b. NJ: Martin (19, apprentice sash maker), John J. (17, farmer), Sarah (13), David (10), William (8), Cornelia (6), Jane A. (3), Margaret (7m), Margaretta (19, at leasure), and Sarah (75, widow lady). Jacob is 42, b. NJ, farmer; Belinda is 41, b. NJ.⁵ The 1870 census lists Jacob M DeMott and Jane at Harrington Township, Bergen County, NJ, with, all b. NJ: William (18), DAvid H. (20), Cornelia (16), Jane Ann (13), and Maggie (10). Jacob is 55, b. NJ, farmer; Jane B. is 53, b. NJ.⁶

     The 1850 census lists John M DeMott at Hackensack Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Mary Frances (12, b. NJ) and Margaretta (10, b. NJ). JOhn is 40, b. NJ, farmer. They are in the same house as Jacob M DeMott, and next door to Mary DeMott.¹

     Mary DeMott was born in 1786.¹

     The 1850 census lists Mary DeMott at Hackensack Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Henry (37, farmer) and Sciny (27) DeMott); and William Thompson (15, laborer) and James Pratt (25, b. Ireland, laborer) Mary is 64. All except William Pratt are listed as with ditto marks as b. in Germany. They are next door to John M DeMott and Jacob M DeMott.¹

     Mattys DeMott was born circa 1677.² He married Margrietje Brinkerhoff, daughter of Hendrick Brinkerhoff and Claesie Cornelis Bogert, on 6 May 1705 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)³

     Michiel De Mott was born circa 1645.¹ He married Antie Westbrook, daughter of Antoni Westbroeck and Orseltje Dircks.¹ Michiel De Mott died in 1688 at Ulster County, NY.¹

     Michiel De Mott and Antie had six more children.¹

     Willem V De Munnik was born in 1909 at The Netherlands.¹ He married Bertha Arnold Conway De Munnik.¹ Willem V De Munnik died on 16 August 1986 at Paramus, NJ.¹

     Cornelius Den Hartog was born in February 1845 at Goedereede, Goeree-Overflakkee, Zuid Holland, The Netherlands.^2,1,3 He married Grietje de Vries on 22 March 1866 at Goedereede, Zuid Holland.^2,3

     Cornelius Den Hartog and Grietje de Vries immigrated in 1866.¹ The 1900 census lists Cornelius Den Hartog and Maggie at 135 East Holsman Street at Paterson City (Ward 1), Passaic County, NJ, with their son Daniel (Feb 1876) and daughter Tillie (Aug 1877), both born in NJ. Both Daniel and Cornelius were masons.¹ The 1910 census lists Cornelius Hartley and Maggie at 135 East Holsman Street at Paterson City (Ward 1), NJ, with their daughter Tillie De Young (33, b. NJ) and granddaughter Lena (5, b. NJ.)² His parents were Leentjes den Hartog and Martijntje Jongste.³ Name variation: Cornelius Hartley.²

     Tillie den Hartog was born in 1879.¹ She married Thijs de Jong.¹ Tillie den Hartog died on 2 July 1914 at 135 East Holsman Street, Paterson, Passaic County, NJ.¹ She was buried in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.¹

     Tillie den Hartog's obituary appeared on 3 July 1914 in the Het Oosten (pg. 29.)¹ Name variation: Tillie De Young.² Married name: de Jong.¹

     Joos Den Herder was born on 14 April 1893 at Yerseke, Zuid Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.^1,2,3 He married Maria Filius, daughter of Pieter Filius and Jacomina Johanna Maghielse, on 12 July 1917 at Yerseke, Zeeland.^1,3 Joos Den Herder died on 14 April 1966 at 183 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, Bergen County, NJ.¹ He was buried on 18 April 1966 in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.¹
