Michiel and Maria moved to Maryland c. 1660.8 Michiel Pauluszen made a will on 30 November 1690 at Talbot County, MD. It was proved 20 Sep 1692. Mentions wife, but not by name. Son George Vanderford and son-in-law John Jackson were executors (Will 6:5.)8
All children were bp. NYDC, but no bp. found for Aeltje. Konight has a note: See Brooklyn
NOTE: Bergen Families Rapalje has year of marriage as 1640, which makes sense in view of the birthdates of her children. That would make her however, only 13 yr at marriage, which is very young.9,10
NOTE: Elizabeth was listed as Elizabeth Paulusz, but as daughter of Michiel Pauluszen. This makes no sense. Bergen Families Vandervoort File does not have Elizabeth as a daughter of Michiel. Several Paulus' have a daughter Elizabeth, but that file does not have a marriage with Volkert Hendricksen. Elizabeth could also be a sister of Michael.11 Name variation: Michael Paulus Vandervoort.3 Name variation: Michiel Vandervoort.12 Name variation: Michiel Pauluszen Van der Voort.1
