Olde Ulster has also has Wyntje as Richard's second wife, dying in 1703, but all the children as Wyntje's. The children's mother as Wyntje is supported by the Kingston baptismal records. Genealogy Richard Brodhead has him married first to Magdalena Tysen, daughter of Jan Tysen and Magdalena Blanchart, with a son Daniel, b. bef. 1698. Magdalena could be a daughter of Jan Matthyson Van Keulen and Madeline Blanchan, but no baptism or marriage has been found.
