Jacob Haring was born on 8 January 1780 at Harrington Twp, NJ, (now Westwood.)¹ He was baptized at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)² He married Margrietje Van Bussen, daughter of John Van Bussen and Antje Cadmus, on 20 June 1808 at Hackensack, NJ, (DRC.)¹ Jacob Haring died on 22 September 1849 probably in Slotterdam (Saddle River Twp), NJ, at age 69 Slotterdam is now Elmwood Park, NJ.¹ He was buried in Dundee Cemetery in Slotterdam (now Elmwood Park), Slotterdam is now Elmwood Park and Dundee Cemetery is extinct due to vandals & is now marked by a plaque where it once existed in front of present Elmwood Park High School. - bodies still there.¹

Jan Haring was born on 1 March 1736 at New Jersey (probably born Schraalenburgh in that part that is now Haworth.)¹ He was baptized on 7 March 1736 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)² He married Elizabeth Van Emburgh, daughter of Johannes Van Emburgh and Ariaentje Coeyman.³ (license on 25 November 1763 at Bergen County, NJ.)^1,4 Jan Haring died on 13 April 1823 probably died in his home, corner of Hillside and Washington Avenue in that part of Harrington Township that is now Westwood, NJ.¹ He was buried in North Church Churchyard in Schraalenburgh (Dumont.)¹
