They make another will on 4 Aug 1654, in which they mention his child Elbert; her five from her first husband: Grietje, Pieter, Machteld, Huybert, and Hendrick de Riemer, and Elbert Elbertsen, from her second husband.7,8 Elizabeth Greveraet made a will on 4 July 1684. It was proved 5 Jan 1688. She was late widow of Dr. Samuel Drisius. She mentions her children Mrs. Margaretha Steenwyck, wife of Cornelius Steenwyck; Machtell, widow of Nicholas Gouverneur, and Peter De Reimer; and the children of her dec'd son Hubert de Reimer and Catherine: Isaac and Elisabeth.6 Married name: de Riemer.

18 Jun 1663 (p.125) Isaack Greveraat, widower of Lysbeth Jurriaansz intends to remarry. Each child is to receive as his share 2000 guilders. Cousseau has left for Fort Orange.8,9,10

     Meindert Griek was a ship's rigger. On the ship manifests he is described as a birdman.3,4,5 He immigrated in 1916 to 130 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, Hudson County, NJ. He had several trips to the US before that, as a birdman for the company L Ruhr, 238 Grand Street, NYC. They always returned to the Netherlands on the same boat they came on. His contact in Holland is his wife M. Griek in Rotterdam in 1915, and his contact in 1916 is his wife P. Mastenbroek at Hoboken, NJ. In 1916 he sailed from London.4,5,6,7 The 1920 census lists Meindert Griek and Pietertje at 729 Park Ave (5th Ward) at Hoboken, Hudson County, NJ, with six children: Nellie (10), Paul (9), Charles (5), Meindert (4 + 11 mo), all born in Holland, and Abraham (1 + 5 mo) and Alice (3 + 2 mo) born in NJ.3 His parents were Tjalling Griek and Pietertje Groot.1 Name variation: M. Griek.8

(16), Jacob (14), Apolonia (9), all born in Holland, and Janna (7), Pieternella (6), Henry (4) and Tanije? (3), all born in New Jersey.3 Marinus Griep was a master painter. He suffered from lead poisoning.1 The 1920 census lists Marinus Griep and Anna at 123 Home Place at Lodi Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with six children: Cornelius J. (25, born in Holland), Pauline (19, born in Holland), Jennie (17), Nella (16), Henry (14) and Mary (12.)4
Marinus Griep's obituary appeared on 12 April 1929 in the Clarion (pg. 1.)1 His parents were Joos Griep and Neeltje Stroosnijder.2
