William Bertholf was born on 13 March 1823.² He (1) married Ann A Bennett, daughter of Adam Bennett and Mary Polly Galloway, on 1 January 1845 at New York.¹ William Bertholf (2) married Mary Louise Bennett, daughter of Adam Bennett and Mary Polly Galloway, in 1851 at New York. William Bertholf died on 31 July 1872.²
