     The 1870 census lists Ferdinand Reiman and Augusta at Ward 10 at New York City, with their children Anna, Ferdinand, Fred, Augusta, Edward and Theodore, and Mina Hartje.2 Ferdinand Reiman was in 1870 a cigarmaker at New York City.2 Ferdinand Reiman and Wilhelmina lived at 382 E. 4th St. at Manhattan, NY.1 The 1880 census lists Ferdinand Reiman and Mina at ED 308 at New York City, with their children Ferdinand, Fred, Augusta, Edward, Mina, Carl and Emilia.4 Ferdinand Reiman and Wilhelmina lived in 1890 at 3rd Ave. at Bronx, NY.1
     His second wife was the sister of his first wife. All his children (except Anna, who was born in Hanover, Germany, she must have been a child from a previous marriage) were born in New York; the last three are buried in Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, with their mother. Carl was a commercial accountant in Edgewater. While there is a burial, no death dates are given for the children.1
