NJ.7 The 1880 census lists Cornelius D Ackerson and Sarah at Lafayette Twp, NJ, with two daughters: Hannah F (18) and Cora D (14), and a boarder William Divers (15, farm laborer). Cornelius is 52, a farmer, Sarah 48, all are b. NJ. They are on the same page as Ralph Ackerson and Aaron R. Ackerson, who are living in the same house, but are enumerated as separate families.1 Married name: Ackerson.

Both were deceased. Guardians for the bride were Andries Kooijman and Berend Rotman.1 Name variation: Jane Smith.6
