Hendrick Hendrickszen1

M
     Hendrick Hendrickszen married Geertruyd Barents.2

Family

Children
It is unclear where the name of Hendrick Hendrickszen's wife comes from, the mother is not named at the baptisms of the children. It is possible that that he is the same as Hendrick Hendricksen Obee; Obe has a daughter Lysbeth, who has children, starting 1677, which would fit with the birthdate.
Hendrick Obe was also called Hendrick Tamboer; a Hendrick Hendricksen, drummer, is mentioned twice in 1654 and 1655 (see below; of course there is also a Hendrick Hendricksen, tailor, in 1656 and 1658 (HSYB 1900 p.162, 164)3
Three Hendrick Hendricksens are listed in the list of NYDC members 1649-1659: Hendrick Hendrickszen Obe, Tamboer (p.499), Hendrick Hendrickszen and Geertruyd Barents, his wife (p.501), and Hendrick Hendrickszen van Middelborg (p.504). This explains Geertruid Barents; but it would seem to indicate that Hendrick Obe and Hendriks Hendricks are not the same, and that neither is the same as Hendrick Hendricksen of Middelburgh.4,5
