     Petrus Tappan was born on 28 January 1715/16.2 He was baptized on 29 January 1715/16.2 He married Tjaatje Wynkoop, daughter of Cornelius Everts Wynkoop and Barbara Matthys, on 2 July 1736 at Kingston, NY.2,4 (Banns on 14 June 1736. He was Petrus Tappen, jm; she Taatje Wynkoop, jd, both b. and liv. at Kingstown.)4 Petrus Tappan died on 12 January 1748.2
