     On 18 Dec 1658 Immetje, widow of Frans Klase, reports the death of her husband; she must submit an inventory of the estate.
     On 12 Feb. 1659 Immetje, widow of Frans Ch.sz, requests Jacob Jansen Moesman and Abraham De la Noy to act as guardians for her children. Frans Clasen left four minors : Claas Franzen, about 16 years old ; Jacob Franzen, 14 years ; Dirck Franzen, 12 years ; Fymen Franzen, 1½ years.⁷
     Immetie Dirx, widow of Frans Claesen, late shoemaker at New Amsterdam, confers powers of attorney upon her son Claes Fransen, about to depart for Holland, and to her brother-in-law Hendrick Jansen at Amsterdam, Holland, to demand of Jan Jansen, retail merchant in cheese and butter, what has been received by him by virtue of a power of attorney conferred by principal's husband on March 12, 1655, of the estate of Aefjen Jans.      Abraham Verplanck and Andrees de Haas declare that Grietje Dirck, widow of Jan Nagel, has remarried, and has appointed them guardians of children of the aforesaid deceaced Jan Nagel, and of her former deceased husband Jan Schutt, who left a little daughter named Fytje Jans aged 7.      A Henry Jacob Dirlam registers for the WWI draft. He lives in Jersey City, gives his birthdate as 10 Aug 1874. He is a barber. Nearest relative is Elsie Brown in Bogota, NJ
     The 1880 census in Carlstadt, NJ list a Jacob (5, b. NJ) with his parents Jacob (42, baker, b. Hesse Darmstadt) and Mary (39, b. Wurthenburg) Dirlam; a sister Mary (10, b. NJ), and his maternal grandfather Andrew Smed (74, b. Wurthenburg)
     A Jacob Dirlam (wife Maria) is listed as a veteran, deathdate 20 Oct 1912 (buried in Arlington Memorial Park, Kearny, without dates). He was a private in Comp E., NY Vol. Inf. He is living in NYC. Maybe this is his father. Maria died 26 Nov 1916 and is buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove.)^3,4,5,6,7,8 Name variation: Jacob H Dirlem.² Name variation: Jacob Dirlam.

     Emma Louise Disbrow was born on 10 April 1845.¹ She married Duane Franklin Knapp, son of Henry Knapp and Esther Ann Benham.¹ Emma Louise Disbrow died on 17 March 1924.¹ She was buried on 20 March 1924 in Mt. Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw.¹

     Emma Louise Disbrow and Duane had four more children with minimal information: Henry Goetschius; John Disbrow; Emma Sara; and Jeannette Hedges (b. 30 Mar 1881).¹ Married name: Knapp.

     John Henry Disbrow was born on 5 May 1836.² He married Eveline Sarah Knapp, daughter of Robert Knapp and Sarah Phillips, on 8 January 1856 (at her father's residence.)^1,2

     John Henry Disbrow and Eveline had two children (1860 census): Mary J. (b. c. 1857) and Franklin E. (b. c. 1858).² His parents were John Q. Disbrow and Emma Gilpin.²

     Ariaentje Ditmars was born in 1703 (23 May or Aug.)¹ She married Albert Lucasse Voorhees on 10 May 1720.²

     They moved to New Brunswick, Canada, around 1722; however, it might just have been Albert who moved; Brooklyn Settlers has a deathdate of 14 Apr 1721 for Ariaentje. In that case, the later children are from the second wife! And considering, his first marriage lasted less than two years, that is prob. correct.^2,1,3 Name variation: Arregeantje Ditmarse.² Married name: Voorhees.

     Laurens Ditmars was born at Flatbush, NY.¹ He was baptized on 25 April 1680.¹ He married Elizabeth Hegeman, daughter of Joseph Hegeman and Femmetje Remsen, on 29 October 1701.^2,3,1,4 Laurens Ditmars died on 25 July 1769.¹
