NY, glassworker fancy goods) and daughter Caroline Caroline (18, b. NY, sales lady dept. store). Anthony was 48, b. Germany, imm. 1881, was naturalized, he was a glassworker of fancy goods; Hildegard was 46, b. Germany, imm. 1882, 2 children, 2 living; they were married 24 years.⁴ The 1920 census listed Hilda Schmitt in Frank J Schmitt's household at 27 Orchard Street at Ridgefield Park, NJ.² The 1930 census lists Hilda Schmitt at 27 Orchard Street at Ridgefield Park, NJ, with her son Frank (43, b. NY, war cripple), her son-in-law and daughter Julius G (43, b. NY, father b. France, mother b. NY, clerk for the railroad) and Caroline K. Schmitt (38, b. NY, parents b.
