     Jan Evertszen was from Old England acc. to his marriage certificate.^3,4 He married Engeltje Hercksen Krankhuyt, daughter of Herck Sybouts and Wyntjie Theunis, on 4 May 1686 at New York City (DRC.)^1,3,5,6,4 (Banns on 3 April 1686. He was Jan Evertszen, jm Uyt oudt Engelandt; she Engeltje Hercks, widow of Pieter Breestede, both living here.)³ Jan Evertszen died before 9 May 1689.⁷

     Krankhuyt file has a possible marriage with John Wendover. There is no marriage registration; it could be another name for Jan Evertsen.      Johannes Everts was baptized on 8 September 1686 at New York City (DRC) (sp. Jacob de Key and Geertie Quick.)¹ He married Maria Marshall, daughter of Jarvis Marshall and Tryntie Smit, in 1712.²

     Leendert Evertsz was born circa 1587.² He married Maritje Paulus at Amsterdam, The Netherlands.² (Banns on 13 June 1609. He was 22 y.o, his witness was his father Evert ?; she was Maritje Pauwels, 24 y.o.)²

     Leendert Evertsz and Maritje had five more children baptised in Amsterdam.³ Name variation: Leendert Van der Grift.⁴

     Wessel Everse and Susanna had two sons, both bp. NYC:

2. Lucas Wessels, bp. 16 Feb 1696 (NYDC 2:233).⁷ Wessel Everse made a will on 30 May 1705. It was proved 11 Jul 1713. He was Wessell Everse, of New York, boatman. , do by these presents make and constitute my trusty and loving friend and wife Susannah Everse, my true and lawful attorney, with full power, etc. And considering the mortality of this life, I declare this to be my last will, and 1 leave her all my estate and goods, and make her executor.

     Elijah Souther Ewell was born on 30 September 1787 at Scituate, MA.¹ He married Ruth Keen Barstow, daughter of James Barstow and Sarah Levitt, on 29 October 1815 at Pembroke, MA.¹ Elijah Souther Ewell died on 6 September 1870 at his home at Fulton St., Medford, MA, at age 82.¹ He was buried in Cross Street Cemetery in Medford, Bodies and stones removed to Oak Grove Enclosure in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA in 1958.¹

     Gershom Ewell was baptized on 26 October 1746 at Scituate, MA, (First Parish Church.)¹ He married Hannah Souther, daughter of Joseph Souther and Abigail Kent.¹ Gershom Ewell died on 4 March 1821 at Scituate, MA.¹

     Helen Ewell was born on 20 July 1822 at Scituate, MA.¹ She (1) married John Palmer, son of Martin Palmer and Rachel Stetson, on 14 October 1840 at Medford, MA.¹ Helen Ewell (2) married James T Moulton on 19 December 1871 at Lynn, MA.¹ Helen Ewell died on 27 January 1909 at 12 Carnes St., Lynn, MA.¹ She was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.¹

     Auke Faber was associated with Jacob Schaper in the scavenger business in Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ, with his uncle Auke Faber at Ridgewood, NJ.³ The 1920 census lists Isaac Faber and Grace at Hill Street at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their son Dick (21, b.      Bernardus Faddegon was a watchmaker.¹ Bernardus Faddegon and Elizabeth lived between October 1887 and November 1890 at Haarlemmerdijk 89 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with 3 children: Bernardus Leonardus Johannes Henri (b. 1 Jan 1877, Amsterdam), Elisabeth Helena Johanna (b. 22 Feb 1875, Nieuwer Amstel) and Johanna Bastiana (b. 20 Oct 1881, Amsterdam). In November 1890 they leave for North America; the shiplist has them going to Paterson, Bernardus (40) is listed as a smith, Bernard (13) as a printer; wife Elizabeth (47), daughters Elizabeth (15) and Jansje (9). They live at vrious addresses in Amsterdam from 1876. Before that they lived in Nieuwer Amstel (although they are living in Amsterdam when they married.^4,5,1 The 1900 census lists Barnard Faddegun and Elizabeth at Park Ave (#142) at Manchester Township (Hawthorne Borough), Passaic County, NJ, with two children, b. Holland: Benjamin (b. Jan 1877) and Jennie (b. Oct 1881); and a boarder Peter C Hartog. The family immigrated in 1889. Barnard and Benjamin are painters, Jennie a silk embroiderer.³ His parents were Leendert Faddegon and Helena Steenbeek. The father is dec'd in 1873, the mother is living in Amsterdam.¹ Name variation: Barnard Faddegun.³

     Sarah Ernstinea Fahndrich was born on 25 December 1884 at Red Cloud, NE.¹ She married Benjamin Schlabach on 18 January 1905 at Brookfield, MI.² Sarah Ernstinea Fahndrich died on 18 September 1954 at Bloomington, NE.
