     BC-Families Crom File has Lena as Cathalena, daughter of Ariaan Lambertse Schmidt and (1) Willemke, bapt. 21 Jun 1646 in Tiel (Thuyl) in Gelderland. As Tiel and Tuil (Thuyl) are separate towns, this needs more research. FamilySearch has an baptism index for both Tiel and Tuil, but she does not seem to be listed in either on the date specified. However, her half-brother Lambert is found in Thuyl.^1,3 Married name: Crum. Married name: Krom.

He was Johannes Meyer, jm b. in New York City; she Marretie Smidt, jd b. on the Bowery, on Manades Island; in the presence of Annetie Meyer.)^4,2

     Jarvis was a prominent person in New Amsterdam, and in Orange COunty, NY. Jarvis and Tryntie also had a son Jarvis. He (2) m. Eleanor.      Willem Smidt was born at Hackensack, NJ.¹ He was baptized in 1742.² He married Barbara Franssen on 19 April 1742 (NY Lutheran Church.)^1,3 (Banns at Hackensack, NJ. Willem Smidt ym and Barbara Franssen yd, free Negroes, live in Bergen County.)³

     He probably married again (by license) on 28 Aug 1744 at NY Lutheran: William Smith, widower of Dutchess, and Mary Fleming, widow of Trenton.^4,5

     A. Sidney Smith was born on 2 February 1825 at Monroe, Orange County, NY. He married Jeninah Ettcomb on 7 December 1843. A. Sidney Smith died on 22 February 1905.

     Aaltje Cornelis Smith was born in 1741.¹ She married Arie Blauvelt, son of Johannes Blauvelt and Annatje Quackenbush.

     Albert A Smith was born on 15 March 1788.¹ He was baptized on 20 April 1788 at Bergen County, NJ, (Paramus DRC) (no sp. listed.)¹ He (1) married Mary Hopper, daughter of John D Hopper and Maria Westervelt.² Albert A Smith (2) married Hannah Fisher, daughter of David Fisher and Elizabeth Achenbach.²

     Albert C Smith was born on 6 December 1749.¹ He was baptized on 1 January 1750 at Tappan, NY, (DRC) (sponsors: Johannis Smit and Jannetye Smit; father Cornelis Smit, mother Maria Haring.)^1,2 He married Susannah Eckerson, daughter of Eduwaert Eckerson and Maria Bertyn.^3,4

     Konight has a note that only the first two children are in the Ackerson/Eckerson Genealogy. The other six are from BFG 5-1153, but it is unclear what the B refers to. BC-Families Smith A-I File used the Blauvelt Genealogy as a source.^4,5,6 Name variation: Allibirt Smit.²

     Albert Russell Smith was born on 18 December 1903 at Monroe, Orange County, NY.¹ He married Edna Montanye on 14 May 1927 at Craigsville, NY.¹ Albert Russell Smith died on 20 April 1968.¹ He was buried on 23 April 1968 in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor.¹
