     John Henry Staples was born circa 1811 at Stow, Oxford County, NH, (possibly.)1 He (1) married Caroline Sanborn on 11 August 1844 at Moultonborough, NH.1 John Henry Staples (2) married Mary Ann Quimby on 4 April 1850 at Sandwich, NH, (Second Freewill Baptist Church.)1 John Henry Staples died between 4 April 1850 and July 1860 at NH or MA.1

     Matilda A Staples was born between 1841 and 1845 at Sandwich, NH.1 She married Daniel Rufus Hubbard, son of Rodney Hubbard and Sally Robinson, on 3 May 1863 at Meridith, NH.1 Matilda A Staples died on 9 May 1897 at Meridith, NH.1 She was buried in Plymouth Street Cemetery in Meridith, now known as Meridith Village Cemetery.1
