     Konight FGS has both Josias and Jannetje as children of Jan Dreeth; Jan does not have a son Joost or Josias in Amsterdam, although it would be logical if he had; James Turse has Josias' parents as Jan De Raedt Drake and Sybilla Everts, but that does not show up in the Amsterdam database.
     A John Dredge has a son Josias bp. in the English Presb. Church in Amsterdam on 13 Aug 1653 (Bk 137, p.91), lists no mother or witnesses. But this John has two other children (again without mother) Sara (07 Dec 1650) and John (11 Feb 1652) before the marriage with Grietje.
     A Sijbbel Everts has children with Dirck Tijmens between 1585-1594; and with Andries Andriesen between 1601 and 1614; a Sybrich Everts with Jacob Jacobsen between 1633 and 1646.2,17,19 Name variation: Josias Jansze Drake.3 Name variation: Joseph Drake.17 Name variation: Josis Dietz.1

     Derk Drenth was born on 13 February 1892 at Termunten, Groningen, The Netherlands.2,1 He died on 17 October 1975 at Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg, PA.3 He was buried in Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.3
     The 1900 census listed Derk Drenth in Jan Harm and Stella Drenth's household at (#184) at Hope Township, Warren County, NJ.4 The 1910 census listed Derk Drenth in Jan Harm and Stella Drenth's household at Great Meadows Road at Hope Township, Warren County, NJ.5
Derk Drenth's obituary appeared on 20 October 1975 in the Bergen Record (pg. B21, col. 3.)3 Name variation: Derk S Drenth.3

     Jan Harm Drenth was born in 1848 at Finsterwolde, Groningen, The Netherlands.1,2 He married Stientje Spel on 4 October 1873 at Nieuwolda, Groningen, The Netherlands.1,2

     Jan Harm Drenth and Stella Drenth immigrated on 2 March 1896 on the Spaarndam, from Rotterdam, arriving on 2 Mar 1896 in New York, with nine children: Jan (17), Aaltje (16), Anna (14), Stientje (11), Pieterke (9), Syfke (8), Reinkje (6), Derk (4), and Ernst (2). They were going to Hackettstown, NJ.2 The 1900 census lists Jan Harm Drenth and Stella at (#184) at Hope Township, Warren County, NJ, with ten children: Tunis (May 1877), John Jr (Aug 1878), Annie (Nov 1991), Stella (Nov 1883), Pieterske (Feb 1886), Sypke (Mar 1888), Reintje (Mar 1890), Derk (Feb 1892), Ernest (Apr 1884), and Jennie (Dec 1896). All are born in Denmark, including John and Stella!3 John Jr lives next door, and a Derk and Grietje Spell live two houses further.4 The 1910 census lists Jan Harm Drenth and Stella at Great Meadows Road at Hope Township, Warren County, NJ, with eight children: Anna (28), Stella (26), Nellie (24), Syfko (22), Rientje (20), Derk S. (18), Ernst (16), and Jennie (14), all are born in Holland.5 His parents were Jan Drenth and Wopchien Jans Kuiper.1 Name variation: John Drenth.6
