     It is assumed that John Heinrich Bott is his father; they came to Phila together from Germany on the Hampshire 7 Sept 1748.¹

     Maurice Bott was born in August 1877 at New Jersey.² He married Iantha Smith, daughter of George Wesley Smith and Edna. Maurice Bott died before 1915.³

     The 1900 census lists Maurice Bott and Annie at ED 87 at Little Falls Township, Passaic County, NJ, with their daughter Ivy. They were all born in New Jersey.² Name variation: Morris Bott.⁴

     The 1880 census lists Walter Bott and Sarah C at Boonton, Morris County, NJ, with one child Maurice.² The 1920 census lists Sarah C Bott at Paterson (ward 6), Passaic County, NJ, with her grandchildren Bessie, Gilbert and Walter, and many lodgers.¹

     Walter Bott was born in 1849 at New Jersey.¹ He married Sarah C Bott.¹

     The 1880 census lists Walter Bott and Sarah C at Boonton, Morris County, NJ, with one child Maurice.¹

     Foktje Bottema was born in 1874 at The Netherlands.² She married Kornelis Siersema on 18 May 1893 at Baflo, Groningen, The Netherlands.^1,2,3 Foktje Bottema died on 6 May 1939 at Hackensack Hospital, Hackensack, NJ.² She was buried in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.²

     Tokje Siersma immigrated on 24 July 1906 on the Potsdam, arriving in New York on 24 Jul 1906, with 3 children: Trientje (8), Hendrika (4) and Martha (2.)^2,4 The 1910 census lists Cornelius Siersma and Foktje at Ackerman Ave at Glen Rock Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with four children: Katherine (12), Henrietta (8), Martha (6), and William (3.)³ The 1920 census lists Cornelius Siersma and Foktje at Hamilton Ave (#98) at Glen Rock Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with three children: Catherine (21), Henrietta (18), and William (12.)⁵ Cornelius Siersma and Foktje lived in 1939 at 572 Broad Street at Glen Rock, Bergen County, NJ.²
Foktje Bottema's obituary appeared on 11 May 1939 in the Ridgewood Herald (pg. 2.)² Her parents were Hendrik Jans de Boer Bottema and Pilke van der Wal.¹ Name variation: Tokje Siersma.⁴ Married name: Frances Siersma.²

     Catherine Bough was born in 1843 at Ireland.¹ She married Patrick Lavelle, son of Michael Lavelle and Rose, in 1867 (New York, NY.)¹ Catherine Bough died on 15 April 1874 at New York, NY, at age 32.¹ She was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Sec 7, Range 6, Plot C, grave 3. Originally interred 22 Apr 1874.²

     The 1870 census lists Patrick Lavelle and Catherine at Broome Street (14th Ward) at New York City, with their children Michael, Rose, Peter, Mary and Margaret (NOTE: The image at FamilySearch shows Mary as 8 y.o, and Margaret (indexed as Mayert) as 11 mo.)^1,3,4,5 Married name: Lavelle.

     Antje Bouma was born in May 1856 at St. Annaparochie, Het Bildt, Friesland, The Netherlands.^1,2 She married Tjalling Dijkstra on 9 October 1879 at Het Bildt, Friesland, The Netherlands.¹

     Antje Bouma and Tjalling had five children born in Het Bildt, Friesland, The Netherlands: Tjerk (1879 #A 23), Tetje (1881 #A 25), Tjitske (1883 #A 15), Rikje (1886 #A 129) and Brechtje (1889 #112).³ Antje Bouma and Tjalling Dijkstra immigrated in 1890.⁴ The 1900 census lists Charles Dexter and Annie at (#214) at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their children: Theodore (Dec 1879), Jessie (Jun 1881), Jennie (Jan 1883), Rachel (Jun 1886), Bertha (May 1889), all born in Holland, and Sadie (Apr 1892, b. in NJ). They were married 21 years, immigrated 1890.⁴ The 1910 census lists Charles Diestra and Annie at 28 Prospect Street at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with their daughter Sadie (18, b. in NJ.)⁵ Her parents were Tjerk Klazes Bouma and Tjitske Pieters Haarsma.¹ Name variation: Annie Dexter.² Name variation: Annie Diestra.⁵ Married name: Dijkstra.

     Etienne Bourdet was born on 11 April 1698.²

     Etienne came to NY by 1685 (NOTE: This cannot be the same person.)¹ Name variation: Etienne Burdette.^1,3 Name variation: Etienne Stephen Bourdet.³

     Samuel Bourdet was born near La Rochelle, France.¹ He married Judith Piaud.¹

     Samuel Burdet fled from La Rochelle some time between 1681 and 1685. He may have gone to England first and come over here later. At all events he was in New York as early as
1689. He married Judith Piaud a few years before that date either in England or this country. She arrived with her widowed mother, two sisters and a cousin from La Rochelle, the parish of St. Sauveur. They went first to England, probably about 1681. In 1685 her sister Jeanne, who was married to Simon Soumain, had a son baptized in the French Church in Threadneedle Street in London, June 10, 1685. Here also, Judith and Samuel Burdet may have been married.² Samuel Bourdet and Judith Piaud were members of the French Church at New York City.¹ Name variation: Samuel Burdet.² Name variation: Samuel Bourdett.¹

     Maria Bourdette was born in 1746.¹ She married John Lozier, son of Johannes Lozier and Lea Banta.^2,1 Maria Bourdette died in 1828.¹

     Jan Evertsen Bout (1) married Tryntje Symons. Jan Evertsen Bout (2) married Annetje Praa, daughter of Pierre Prat and Marie Phillippe, in 1668.¹ Jan Evertsen Bout died before 27 September 1671 as his executor is confirmed.^1,2

     Stockholm File says "He was a middle aged widower at his second marriage, and patentee of Gowanus."³ Jan Evertsen Bout made a will on 1 August 1671. The will and probate can be found at Ancestry: Wills, 0001-0180, (1662-1761) #36, image 154-160.⁴ The index lists this as being in Liber 1, p.127, but Pelletreau has p.65, and only the confirming of the administrator. The will is in Dutch, it is hard to read. He names his present wife Annetje Pieters (who is pregnant), and his previous wife Tryntje Symons, dec'd. Three parts are enumerated: 1 part to his wife's sisters and brothers; 1 part to Denys Hegeman, son of Adriaen Hegeman; Johannis Jacobs Van der Grist, son of Jacob Leenderts Van der Grist; Jean Lemaitre, son of Glaude Lemaitre; and Jan Barents, each 1/4 (relation unclear); 1 part for the poor of Breuckelen. He does not seem to name any children; it is possible that the will is a joint will. Witnesses: Fredrick Lubberts and Joris Jacobs.
     Whereas Jan Everts Bout, late of Brooklyn, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, did in his will appoint Adrian Hegeman of Flatbush, alias Midwout, his executor; and there being no Court of Sessions until the month of December, he is confirmed as executor on 27 Sept 1671. Francis Lovelace.⁵

     Geertje Bouwkens was from Naerden acc. to her marriage certificate.^2,3 She married Wessel Evertszen on 15 March 1643 at New York City (DRC) (banns; He was Wessel Evertszen, jm from Naerden; she Geertie Bouwkens, jd as before.)²

     Geertje Bouwkens and Wessel had two more children, bp. NYDC:
1. Bauduyn (bp. 13 May 1646; father Wessel Evertszen, mother not listed Bauduyn; sp. Rem Janszen, Aeltje Cornelis, and Belitje Jacobs; NYDC p.20)
2. Jan (bp. 16 Jul 1656; parents Wessel Evertszen and Geertie Bouten; sp. Pietertje Jans; NYDC p.43; d.y.)^4,5 Her parents were BC-Families has Tryntje Jans Bout and Geertje Bouwkens/Bou/Bout as possible daughters of Jan Evertsen Bout and Tryntje Symons. As they marry c. 35 years apart, Tryntje is from Vlissingen, and Geertje from Naerden, that seems extremely unlikely and (an unknown value.)⁶
