     Leonard Cronk was born in June 1861 at The Netherlands.^1,2 He married Ida Rosenboom in 1883.^3,1,2 Leonard Cronk died on 29 August 1939 at Vreeland and Highland Ave, Midland Park, Bergen County, NJ.³ He was buried on 31 August 1939 in Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.³

     Leonard Cronk immigrated in 1873.³ He was first a railroad engineer, later a stationary engineer, and finally he worked for the LaFavorite Rubber Manufactoring Plant in Hawthorne.³ The 1900 census lists Leonard Cronk and Ida at #210 at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with four children: John (Jan 1884), Minnie (Mar 1888), Lambert (Oct 1892) and Abram (Dec 1895.)² The 1910 census lists Leonard Cronk and Ida at 136 Vreeland Ave at Midland Park Borough, Bergen County, NJ, with three children: Minnie (22), Lambert (18) and Abraham (16). Minnie is a weaver, and Lambert a carpenter.⁴ The 1920 census lists Leonard Cronk and Ida at 75 Vreeland Ave at Midland Park, Bergen County, NJ, with their son Bert (28), a carpenter.¹

     Possibly this is Leonard in the 1880 census: Leonard Cronk (20 yr, born in Holland, servant in the household of Ellen Patterson.⁵
     Possibly this is Leonard in the 1880 census with father John (54, farmer), mother Mary (54, keeps house), sister Lizzie (15). Leonard is 20 yr, all born in Holland. John and Mary are in the 1870 census in Washington Township with a son William (18) and daughter Elizabeth (5), but no Leonard (but Leonard Cronk came to the US c 1873.)^6,7

     Margaret Elizabeth Cronon was born on 21 February 1855 at New York, NY.¹ She married Irving David Smith, son of David Smith IV and Cornelia Hunter Conklin, on 2 August 1876.¹ Margaret Elizabeth Cronon died on 28 August 1933 at Monroe, Orange County, NY.¹
