Italy.)4 The 1880 census lists Samuel Dackerman and Catherine at Harrington Township, NJ, with seven children, the eldest two b. in Bavaria, the rest in NJ: Catharine (22), George (19), Elisabeth (14), Anna (11), John (9), Ida (5), and Samuel (2). The father is 49, b. Bavaria, manufacturer; the mother is 44, b. Bavaria. There are also two boarders: Albert Germain (40, b. France, farm laborer) and Batio Bonari (50, b. Italy, farm laborer.)2

     Samuel Dackerman died 1 Oct 1884 at Harrington Township, leaving widow and 1 son (not named) (but if that is true, then it is a different Samuel.)1 He had at least 2 more children, who died as infants. Daughter Anna might have been b. 15 Aug 1869, NYC and died 25 Nov 1935 in Queens, as Anna Dour, daughter of Samuel Dockerman and Kathryn Kober (but 1870 census is then off). Her spouse was John, and she is buried in St. John's Cemetery.5,6,7 Name variation: Samuel Dockerman.2
