     According to Judy Ullman, the information about Jacob Courter and his descendants & Aaron Courter and his descendants was from a manuscript written by 'John H. Greener, a lawyer who lived in Brooklyn, NY and was interested in genealogy at the turn of the last century.
     He was married to Ida Courter of North Caldwell, NJ. Greener intended to publish his work, but this apparently did not happen. Instead, various 'chapters' were typed and deposited at the NJ Historical Society in Newark and the NYC Public Library.^2,3'
     NOTE: In addition the birthdate for Henry seems off as well, Peter would only have been 14 at his birth!
