He was retired then and moved to Ormond Beach, FL to be live with his daughter, Beatrice, for a time. He then moved to a nearby retirement home, "The Casements", former winter home of John D. Rockefeller. This was a pleasant place, situated on an inland waterway just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.2

     Alice Viola Post was born on 21 January 1873 at Colesville, NJ.1 She married Merritt C Beemer, son of John B Beemer and Henrietta Cox, circa 1894.1,2 Alice Viola Post died on 11 July 1947 at Colesville, NJ.1
