     David Alyea was born on 25 January 1787 at Acquackanonck, NJ.1 He married Dinah Bush, daughter of Richard Bush and Antje Stagg, on 19 June 1808 at Acquackanonck, NJ, (DRC) (by Rev. Henricus Schoonmaker.)1 David Alyea died on 11 October 1855.1 He was buried in DRC in Acquackanonck.1

     The 1850 census listed David Alyea in Peter D and Ann Alyea's household at Aquackanonck, Passaic County, NJ.4 David Alyea made a will on 13 July 1854. It was proved 22 Oct 1855. He was David Alyea of Aquackanonck Township in Passaic County, NJ. Mentions his eldest son Peter; son Richard; daughter Elisa's heirs; daughter Ann's heirs; daughter Sarah. Peter to be executor (Book B, pp 66-68).
     David's will and inventory of goods are detailed in the papers, as well as land sales and purchases in Clifton and Paterson.2,1

     David Alyea married Margaret.1 David Alyea died before 1 June 1768.1 His estate was probated on 1 June 1768 at Bergen County Surrogate, Bergen County, NJ.1
