     Myndert Hendricksen Hogencamp was from Meppelen acc. to his marriage certificate.1 He married Jannetje Hendricks, daughter of Hendrick Martanszen and Margaret Meyhring, at New Haerlem.1 (Banns on 23 April 1681 at DRC, New York City. He was Meyndert Hendrickszen, jm from Meppelen; she Jannetje Hendricks, jd from the Esopus, both living at the armen Bouwerye. N. Haerlem.)2,1,3 Myndert Hendricksen Hogencamp died circa 1700.

     John Hoitsma was born on 7 November 1891 at Tietjerksteradeel, Friesland, The Netherlands.1,2,3 He married Jennie Dykstra.1 John Hoitsma died on 12 February 1972 at Bergen Pines Hospital, Paramus, NJ.1 He was buried on 15 February 1972 in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn.1

     John Hoitsma immigrated in 1915.1 John Hoitsma and Jennie lived after 1945 at 488 Grove Street at Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ. A John Jr. and Samuel are at the same address.1,4 John Hoitsma was a baker. He was associated with the Hoitsma Bakery in Paterson, NJ.1
John Hoitsma's obituary appeared on 14 February 1972 in the Paterson Evening News (pg. 29.)1 His parents were Jan Hoitsma and Geertje van Gelder. Seven more children of this couple are born in Tietjerksteradeel, Friesland, The Netherlands, and the names match the surviving brothers and sisters.5
