Elizabeth and her parents are born in Michigan, where later she is listed as born in Alabama, and her parents in Canada.2 The 1915 census lists Cornelius C Banta and Elizabeth at Harrison Ave at Ridgewood Twp, Bergen County, NJ, with their children Eddie, Eva (Oct 1890), Lottie (Apr 1894), Edith G (Dec 1896), and on the next page Jared C (Feb 1898), John (Jan 1900), Gertrude (Mar 1904), Russell (Dec 1906), Ida D (Aug 1908) and Gladys C (Jun 1910.)1
     The obituary of Cornelius Edward mentions most of the children of Cornelius C Banta listed in 1915.3,4

     An obituary was published on 20 Apr 1966, but paper was cut off, prob. Ridgewood News.3
