     Orloff Leonard was born on 14 October 1853 at West Millgrove, OH.^2,3 He died on 2 January 1856.^2,4 He was buried in West Millgrove.²

     NOTE: Orloff DeWitt was listed as son of Winfield Scott DeWitt in the DeWitt File, but must belong to a different family; perhaps he is a brother of Winfield Scott? He is not in Find-A-Grave. Acc. to Foote and Leonard Genealogies, Alma Leonard has a brother Orloff.^5,2,1,4 Name variation: Orloff DeWitt.²

     Adam Leonowicz was born on 1 July 1888 at Minsk, Russia.² He died on 12 February 1940.^3,1,4 He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack.^3,1,4

     He registered for the draft on 5 Jun 1917. He was an alien, worked for the Erie RR, and had served 4 months in the Russian Army, as a private in the Cavalry. He lived on River Road, Edgewater, NJ; his mother lived in Russia.² Adam Leonowicz was a private in the 154th Depot Brigade during WWI.^1,3

     Jan Lequier married Rachel Dirckse, daughter of Dirck Volckertsen and Christina Vinge.¹ (Banns on 11 November 1663 at DRC, New Amsterdam.)¹ Jan Lequier died circa 1713.²

     Daniel Lernou was born in 1592 (22 at the banns.)¹ (Banns on 18 January 1614 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Daniel's vader Adriaen Lernou and Maritje's mother Pietertje Michiels are present.)¹

     His father was Adrijaen Lenou. He probably had at least one more daughter, Jannetje, who was sponsors at one of the baptisms.¹ Daniel Lernou and Maria had five children bp. in Amsterdam (but no Annetje):

     Ira Leslie was born on 21 August 1807.¹ He married Juliette Barnes, daughter of Ezekial Barnes and Fannie Johnson, on 26 January 1834.¹ Ira Leslie died on 29 June 1869 at Lorain County, OH.¹

     Sophia Eliza Leslie was born on 6 January 1847 at Middle Ridge road, Amherst Twp, OH.¹ She married Orlando Elisha Foster, son of Edwin Calmon Foster and Betsy Maryett Aiken, on 11 August 1869 at Amherst, OH.¹ Sophia Eliza Leslie died on 15 March 1926 at Amherst, Lorain County, OH.¹

     Andrew Lester was born circa 1618 at Gloucestershire or Cheshire, England. He (1) married Barbara Bradley. Andrew Lester (2) married Joanna Hempstead on 22 March 1654/55. Andrew Lester (3) married Hannah Brooks, daughter of Henry Brooks and Grace Wheeler, in 1661 at New London, New London County, CT. Andrew Lester died on 7 June 1669 at New London, CT.

     Andrew Lester and Joanna had no children.
     Caulkins, the historian of New London, says Andrew married (2), Joanna Willey, daughter of Isaac Willey and Joanna, and widow of Robert Hempstead, who died before 1660, "no children mentioned." Savage and Willey dispute this claim, which is also problematical in that Andrew's 3d wife and widow Hannah married, sometime after 1670, Isaac Willey, Joanna's father. Andrew Lester did marry (3), as her 2d husband, in 1661 at New London, Hannah Brooks, daughter of Henry Brooks, and widow of Thomas Fox, with whom he had 3 children.
