Has also claim against the estate.17 Adrian Van Laer and Abigael had one more son, Gerrit (bp. 27 Nov 1669 NYDC; parents Adriaen Van Laer and Abigael Verplancken; sp. Stoffel Van Laer and Anna Vincent).18,19 Adrian Van Laer was a shoemaker.7
     In the (1) marriage record he is 24 yrs old, his father is Gerrit Stoffelsen; she is 22 yrs old, her mother is poss. IJtje Leuwens (hard to read). He has a newborn child buried on 5 Jun 1658. He apparently left his pregnant wife in Amsterdam, when he left.
     The Marjorie Schmeltzer file had his parents as Gerrit Jansz van Laer and Sara Andries. They had a son Andries bp. 06 Sep 1637 in Amsterdam. However, then he would have been only 19 at his first marriage. Bergen Families (VanLaer File) has his parents as Gerrit Stoffelsen van Laer and Bayke Arjaens.6,20,21,7,10 Name variation: Arian Van Laer.7
