The 1860 census lists John J Tuers and Delia at Newark (Ward 12), Essex County, NJ, with heir children Matilda, Cornelius and Maria.5 The 1885 census lists John J Tuers and Delia J at Newark (Ward 12), NJ, with Hattie M, John J and Herman F. Cornelius Tuers (20-60) is listed in the same house, but a separate household.3 Married name: Delia Tuers.5
