These properties were conveyed by Willian Winter, Jr. to his mother Hester Winter. Hester sold these two properties soon afterwards to Samuel Durie.3,1 His parents were William Winter and Margaretha. (acc. to BC-Families). The Wilhelmus Winter story list as a possible father William Henry De Venter von Brabant, who immigrated from Deventer (the Netherlands) in the fall of 1699, settling at Kakiat. It is unclear whether these two are the same.1,3 Name variation: Wilhelmus Winter.3

     William Winter was born on 12 February 1774.1 He was baptized on 13 March 1774 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC) (sp. William Piterse and wife.)1 He married Dolly Sturr.2
