     Ida Huybrechts was baptized on 2 March 1617 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands, (DRC (Old Church)) (sponsors: ? Dircks and Suzanna Woelrather?; father Huibert Egbertsz, mother Jannetje Hermes.)2 She married Jacobus Gerritsen Struycker on 29 July 1644.1,3 (Banns on 14 May 1644. He was Jacob Gerritsz from Dwinglo, journeyman tailor, 26 y.o. his witness was his uncle Heyndrick Lucassz from Meppel, a tailor in St. Jacobsstraat; she Ytgie Huyberts, van Amsterda, her witness was her mother Jannetje Harmens.)3,4

NJ: Fletcher (17, clerk), Cornelius (14, apprentice coach trimmer), Sarah (10), Emma (12), Lydia (8mo). Cornelius is 42, b. NJ, a coach trimmer; Letty is 39, b. NJ.8 Cornelius Huyler was a veteran of the Civil War, he served in Co. 22 NJ Infantry.1,2,6 The 1880 census lists Cornelius Huyler and Lotte at New York City (ED 238), with two children, both b. NJ: Lydia (19) and William (14). Cornelius is a laborer, 63, b. NJ, Lotte 58, b. NJ.5
     A ? Huyler (Mar 1817, b. NJ) with wife Clara (Oct 1823, b. NJ) and daughter Mary (Jan 1873, b. NY) is listed in the 1900 census in Mamaroneck. They were married 40 years, she had six children, 5 were living. He is on the previous page.9
     In 1906 son Fletcher died in NYC. Parents listed as Cornelius Huyler and Aletta van Riper. He was b. 1843 in Passaic, NJ, and an engineer; he is buried in NY Cemetery.10
     Son William died in NYC in 1937. Parents listed as Cornelius Huyler and Sarah vanrifer. He was 71, b. 1866, a machinist, widowed, wife was Elizabeth.11
     Son Cornelius married Jane van Wettering on 21 Jun 1871 in New Barbadoes. Her father is listed as Fuce van Wetteringg. In 1880 they are living in New Barbadoes, he is 35, b. NJ, no occupation; she is 27, b. NJ. parents b. Holland, dressmaker. They have two children, both b. NJ: William (6) and Emma (3.)12,13

     Acc. to the marriage index, both John and Mary Ann were widowed; Mary Ann White's father was listed as Nicholas Weeland. This indicates that Mary Ann Vreeland and Mary Ann White are indded the same person; however the gravestone says M. Annie White.
