     Ida Huybrechts was baptized on 2 March 1617 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands, (DRC (Old Church)) (sponsors: ? Dircks and Suzanna Woelrather?; father Huibert Egbertsz, mother Jannetje Hermes.)² She married Jacobus Gerritsen Struycker on 29 July 1644.^1,3 (Banns on 14 May 1644. He was Jacob Gerritsz from Dwinglo, journeyman tailor, 26 y.o. his witness was his uncle Heyndrick Lucassz from Meppel, a tailor in St. Jacobsstraat; she Ytgie Huyberts, van Amsterda, her witness was her mother Jannetje Harmens.)^3,4

     Ida Huybrechts and Jacobus had a son Gerrit (bp. 19 Jan 1645, New Church; parents Jacob van Gerritsz Dwingelo and IJtje Huijberts; sp. Jan Henrixks (New Church Bk 42, p.444).⁵
     Her father was a "droogscheerder," an occupation in the textile industry. He was buried 18 Mar 1619. He died at the Bloemgracht, behind the Brabantsche Wayes(?)
     She had a brother Huibert (son of Huibert Egbertsz and Jannetje Hermes, bp. 17 Nov 1619, sp. Niessien Willems (DRC Old Church))

     Andries Huyck was born circa 1634.¹ He married Catherine Van Valkenberg, daughter of Lambert Van Valkenburgh and Annetje Jacobs, in 1672.¹ Andries Huyck died on 23 August 1705.¹

     Machtel Huyken married Cornelis Van Duyn, son of Gerrit Cornelis Van Duyn and Jacomyntie Swart, at Brooklyn (DRC.)^2,3 (Banns on 3 January 1691. He was Cornelis Van Duyn, ym, b. New Amersfoort; Machtelje Huyken, ym, b. New Am- ersfoort, with consent of Gerrit Cornellisen Van Duyn, groom's father, his mother Jacquemintje Van Duyn, and Annitje Huyke, the bride's mother.)³ Machtel Huyken died before 1714.¹

     Magdalena Huyck married Cornelius Vrooman, son of Abraham Vrooman and Martie Ver Planck, on 19 December 1766 at Bethlehem, NY.¹

     Benjamin W Huyler was born in 1841.^2,4 He married Lydia Banta in 1863.^2,1 Benjamin W Huyler died on 12 August 1880 at New Barbadoes Twp, NJ.¹ He was buried in Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack.⁴

     The 1880 census lists Benjamin W Huyler and Lydia at Hackensack Village, Bergen County, NJ, with four children: Euphemia (13), Catherine (12), William (10), and Lillie (7), all b. NJ, parents listed as b. NJ. Benjamin W. is 39, b. NY, dealer in lumber & wood, parents b. NJ), Lydia is 34, b.NJ, keeps house, parents b. NJ. They are next door to Lettie Huyler, who is next to John W Huyler.⁵
     He died intestate. On 23 Aug 1880 his wife Lydia Huyler filed for probate; his children are mentioned. Letters of administration were granted to Samuel R. Demarest, Jr. on 21 Oct 1880.^1,6

     Cornelia Huyler was born in 1736.¹ She (1) married Christian Helms.¹ She (2) married Jan Hendricks Banta, son of Hendrick Banta and Trintie Loots, on 12 April 1769.^3,1 Cornelia Huyler died in 1829.¹

     Cornelius Huyler was born in 1817.^1,2 He married Hetty Van Riper on 31 October 1840 at Passaic, NJ.^3,4,5,6 Cornelius Huyler died on 12 January 1901 at Mamaroneck, NY.^1,2,7 He was buried in NY Cemetery (Maple Grove) in Hackensack, Plot 421-A.^1,2

     The 1860 census lists Cornelius Huyler and Letty at New Barbadoes Township, NJ, with five children, all b. NJ: Fletcher (17, clerk), Cornelius (14, apprentice coach trimmer), Sarah (10), Emma (12), Lydia (8mo). Cornelius is 42, b. NJ, a coach trimmer; Letty is 39, b. NJ.⁸ Cornelius Huyler was a veteran of the Civil War, he served in Co. 22 NJ Infantry.^1,2,6 The 1880 census lists Cornelius Huyler and Lotte at New York City (ED 238), with two children, both b. NJ: Lydia (19) and William (14). Cornelius is a laborer, 63, b. NJ, Lotte 58, b. NJ.⁵
     A ? Huyler (Mar 1817, b. NJ) with wife Clara (Oct 1823, b. NJ) and daughter Mary (Jan 1873, b. NY) is listed in the 1900 census in Mamaroneck. They were married 40 years, she had six children, 5 were living. He is on the previous page.⁹
     In 1906 son Fletcher died in NYC. Parents listed as Cornelius Huyler and Aletta van Riper. He was b. 1843 in Passaic, NJ, and an engineer; he is buried in NY Cemetery.¹⁰
     Son William died in NYC in 1937. Parents listed as Cornelius Huyler and Sarah vanrifer. He was 71, b. 1866, a machinist, widowed, wife was Elizabeth.¹¹
     Son Cornelius married Jane van Wettering on 21 Jun 1871 in New Barbadoes. Her father is listed as Fuce van Wetteringg. In 1880 they are living in New Barbadoes, he is 35, b. NJ, no occupation; she is 27, b. NJ. parents b. Holland, dressmaker. They have two children, both b. NJ: William (6) and Emma (3.)^12,13

     Eva Huyler was born on 17 October 1785 at New Jersey.¹ She married Richard T Cooper, son of Theunis Kuyper and Margaretta Banta, on 8 October 1808 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)¹ Eva Huyler died on 14 June 1862.¹ She was buried in South Church Churchyard in Schraalenburgh (Bergenfield.)¹

     George Huyler was born on 24 June 1811.¹ He married Jane Hopper, daughter of Garret A Hopper and Sophia Post, on 25 May 1847.¹ George Huyler died on 6 June 1894.¹

     Henry Peter Huyler was born on 5 May 1821.¹ He married Margaret Voorhis on 28 November 1850.¹ Henry Peter Huyler died before 12 January 1888.²

     Acc. to the marriage index, both John and Mary Ann were widowed; Mary Ann White's father was listed as Nicholas Weeland. This indicates that Mary Ann Vreeland and Mary Ann White are indded the same person; however the gravestone says M. Annie White. BC-Families Vreeland File does not continue the line of Nicholas Vreeland and Ellen Masker (the parents of Mary Ann Vreeland). BC-Families Huyler File has John W.      Wilhelmus Huyler was born on 27 January 1752.¹ He was baptized at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)¹ He married Christina Kool, daughter of Jacob Kool and Sara Demarest, circa 1774.¹ Wilhelmus Huyler died on 7 January 1831.¹ He was buried in DRC Cemetery in Schraalenburgh.¹

     William Huyler was born circa 1805.¹ He married Aletta Westervelt in 1828 at New York City.¹

     Carel Huysman married Ariaentje Dirckse, daughter of Dirck Volckertsen and Christina Vinge, circa 1675.^2,1

     Niesje Huytes was from Coudum in Vrieslant acc. to her marriage certificate.¹ She (1) married Andries Andriessen on 17 October 1655 at New York City (DRC.)¹ Niesje Huytes (2) married Jan Vinge, son of Gulyn Vinge and Adrienne Cuville, on 15 February 1682 at New York City (DRC) (15 Febr. Jan Vinge, Wedr. Van Emmerens Van Nieuwerzluys, Weiske Huytes, Wede. Van Andries Andrienszen, beyde woonende tot N. Yorke. tot Breuckelen.)^2,3,4 Niesje Huytes died between 1716 and 1722.⁵

     Niesje Huytes made a will on 24 June 1716. It was probated 16 May 1722. She was of New York, widow of John Vinge. Mentions grandson Johanes Van Pelt, son of daughter Fretie, by her present husband, Hendrick Van Pelt; grandson Johanes Poel, son of my daughter Fretie, by her first husband, John Poel; eldest daughter Maritie Koningh, widow of Hamen Koningh.
