     Unnamed book shows a daughter Eve from first marriage; several other sources show only two children born from the first marriage. Lawrence was a constable in the town of Harlem in 1708. Inherited the homestead on Harlem lane which was inherited by his widow in 1726.

     Lawrence died unmarried. He was last of the name to hold the homestead. Lawrence had two wills, one bequeathed all of his property to Sarah Gilmore. The second will left his property to his kindred. Apparently after a long legal battle the Kortrights gave up the property for 'a consideration'.3
