     Anna Maria Riedl was born on 20 January 1810 at Inchenhofen, Bavaria, Germany.¹ She was baptized on 27 January 1810.¹ She married Andreas Schrems on 22 November 1831 at Weilach, Bavaria, Germany.¹ Anna Maria Riedl died on 8 April 1889 at Sattelberg, Bavaria, Germany.¹

     After Anna Maria Riedl was widowed in 1871 she went to live with her daughter Nothburga Schrems, Hafmullerin (housename) in Sattelberg House # 89, until she died.¹ Married name: Schrems.

     Sebastian Riedl was born on 20 January 1769 at Inchenhofen, Bavaria, Germany.¹ He (1) married Teresia Habbacherin.¹ He (2) married Magdalena Spielberger on 13 November 1807.¹ Sebastian Riedl died at Inchenhofen, Bavaria.¹

     He was "Burgerlicher Schmeid" (Smith) of Inchenhofen, House #84. Burgerlich means he became a burger or citizen of Inchenhofen, that he was not a native.¹ His parents were Josef Riedl and Afra Mairin.¹

He was Cornelis Steenwyck, from Haerlem; she Margareta Riemers, from Amsterdam.)⁵ Margareta Riemers (2) married Ds. Henricus Selyn, son of Jan Hendricks Selyns and Angenietje Webber, on 20 October 1686 at New York City (DRC.)^1,7,8 (Banns on 2 October 1686. He was Henricus Selyns, wid. of Van Machtelt Specht; she Margareta de Riemer, wid. of Mr. Cornelis Steenwyck, both liv. here.)⁷

Wilhelminus Van Nieuwenhuysen, both liv. in NY.⁹
     Margareta is listed in the NYDC member list as "Juffr. Magareta de Riemer, wid. of Mr. Cornelis Steenwyck" (member #61, name #74-5.)^12,13 Name variation: Margareta Reimers.¹⁴ Name variation: Margareta De Riemer.¹¹ Married name: Steenwyck. Married name: Selyn.

     Rita Rietveldt was born in 1892 at The Netherlands.¹ She married Christiaan Rietveldt.¹ Rita Rietveldt died on 6 March 1975 at 190 Cliff Street, Cliffside Park, Bergen County, NJ.¹ She was buried on 10 March 1975 in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.¹

     Joseph Rigg was between 3 May 1877 and 1884 postmaster at Rich Hill, OH.¹

     Pingree Theodore Rigg was born on 3 June 1865 at Rich Hill, OH.¹ He married Elizabeth Watts, daughter of Charles Henry Watts and Emily, on 19 February 1907 at Brooklyn, NY.¹ Pingree Theodore Rigg died on 15 October 1933 at Toledo, OH.¹

     Mary Riggs was born circa 1786.¹ She married John Jennings on 17 June 1807 at Morland, Westmorland, England.¹

     BC-Families has four more children of Abraham Riker and Hannah Du Bois born before Mariah; does not have a marriage date. Riker File (Sharp) has the marriage date of 25 Nov 1821, but includes the earlier children as children of Abraham and Hannah. Was Abraham married before?³ Name variation: Abram I Riker.¹

     Abraham Riker was baptized on 26 May 1691 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Sybert Hercxken and Marritje Abrahams; father Abraham Rycken, mother Margariet Buytenhuysen.)^2,4 He married Geesie Van Alst, daughter of Johannes Van Alst and Alida Jacobus.¹

     Abraham Polhemus Riker was born in 1809.¹ He married Harriet Vaughn.¹

     Aletta Riker was born on 24 March 1826.² She married Jacob Newkirk. Aletta Riker died on 11 January 1856.² She was buried in Old Bergen Burial Ground in Jersey City.²

     There seems to be a problem here. As indicated here, Aletta would only be 13 at the birth of Anna Maria. In the 1850 and 1860 census there is a Jacob J Newkirk (prob. son of John J Newkirk, 73 in 1860) with two children, John W (7 in 1850, 17 in 1860) and Anna M (9 in 1850, 19 in 1860), but no wife. This would call for more research.^3,4 Married name: Newkirk.

     Christina Titus Riker was born in 1811.¹ She died unmarried.¹

     David H Riker was born in 1835 at New Jersey.¹ He married Eliza Ferris.¹ David H Riker died on 9 August 1876 at Montclair, NJ.^2,3 He was buried in Rosedale Cemetery in Orange.³

     The 1870 census lists David H Riker and Eliza at Montclair, Essex County, NJ, with James H Riker, Rhoda A Riker, Marie E Riker, Phoebe Riker and Fredrick L Riker.¹ David H Riker was a farmer.¹ He and Eliza had seven children, acc. to Find-A-Grave. Rhoda is not listed. Carrie (1851-1873, but not listed in 1870 census), James (1855-1883), Edward H (1861-<1870), Ella B (1861-1863), Marie E, Phoebe, Fredrick (all listed in 1870 and 1880), are all buried in Rosedale Cemetery.³

     Elizabeth Stagg Riker was born in 1819.¹ She (1) married Alpheus Stocking.¹ Elizabeth Stagg Riker (2) married Moses Topley.¹

     Mariah Riker was born on 10 October 1823 at Closter, Bergen County, NJ.¹ She (1) married ?² Mariah Riker (2) married James P Mabie on 20 March 1853 at Blauvelt, NY, (Greenbush Presbyterian Church.)^3,4 Mariah Riker died on 2 February 1912 at Tenafly, Bergen County, NJ.

     The 1860 census lists James P Mabie and Mariah at Orangetown, Rockland County, NY, with Mary A Riker (16) and Eliza Mabey (7); also Cornelius Mabey (45.)⁵ The 1870 census lists James P Mabie and Mariah at Blauvelt, Rockland County, NY, with Cornelius Mabie (58) and Emmeline Cole (7.)⁶ She was named as executor in James P Mabie's will dated 19 May 1874 at Rockland County, NY.⁷ Married name: Mabie.

     Mary Ann Riker was born on 26 August 1843 at Closter, Bergen County, NJ.¹ She married Henry Perry Cole, son of David Isaac Cole and Judy (Julia) Perry, on 23 March 1861 at Middletown (now Pearl River), Rockland County, NY.¹ Mary Ann Riker died on 3 March 1926 at Tenafly, Bergen County, NJ.^1,3

     The 1860 census lists John William Cole and Rachel Ann at Nyack at Orangetown, Rockland County, NY, with Eliza (3, NJ). They are living with James D. Bell (48, carpenter) and Susan Bell (42.)⁴ The 1880 census lists Joseph A Ehm and Rachel Ann at Orangeburg, Rockland County, NY, with Elizabeth (23, b. NY), Arthur Hopper (19, b. NY) and Cornelius Maby (60 b. NY.)⁵ The 1900 census lists Joseph A Ehm and Rachel Ann at Orangetown, Rockland County, NY, with Grace (12) and Alfred (10) Kraft, boarders; Arthur Hopper L. Hopper (Mar 1860, son-in-law, married 18 yrs), Elizabeth Hopper (Mar 1856), and their two children Otto W (Oct 1883) and Bertha (Feb 1894) Hopper.
