Giles Shelley b. 30 Jul 1664
Hillegonda Van Hoorn made a will on 28 May 1716. It was proved 27 Sep 1718 (13 Jan 1719 in NY). She was Hillegonda Shelley, widow of Giles Shelley. Leaves her real and personal estate to executors, her brothers Garrett Van Horn and Elias Vreeland, in trust for her sister Mary Vreeland and her children; if the sister has no children living at the time of her death, then the estate is to go to brothers John Van Hoorn and Abraham Van Hoorn, and sisters Effie Theobalds, Vrouwtie Sandford, and Jannetie Lane. Witnesses: John Okie, Yacobus Oukie, and Leendert Smack.5,6
NOTE: Uhlman had Hillegonda's deathdate as 29 Jun 1746, but the will indicates, she died in 1718; also her sisters all have a different husband; could that date belong to Hillegont Van Hoorn? Hillegont Van Hoorn is the daughter of Joris Jansen and Maria Rutgerts, but she seems to marry a Bogert (she does name several children Joris).
As Hillegond's husband Giles is a sponsor at the bp. of child of Vrouwtje Van Horn and Abraham Sandford, it would seem likely, that she belongs in this family. However, several siblings of Hillegonda (b. 1660) are sponsors for Hillegont (b. 1672). Of course, they rare cousins, making it very confusing.1,2,7 Married name: Crainsborough. Married name: Shelley.

Jannetje Van Hoorn was baptized on 10 February 1664 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Joris Janszen and Hillegond Joris; father Cornelis Janszen, mother Anne Marie Jans.)1,2 She (1) married Reynier Van Sicklen, son of Ferdinand Van Sicklen and Eva Jansen, on 26 March 1687 at New York City (Presbyterian Church.)1,3
Reinier and Jannetje moved to New Jersey.
BC-Families has Jannetje Van Hoorn married (1) to Joseph Hopper, (2) to Reynier Van Sicklen, and (3) to Adriaen Guisbertsz Lane. This last one explains her name Lane in the will of her sister Hillegonda (But BC-Families does not have the will here). Uhlrich has a marriage with Joseph Hegeman (with no info), but this is not mentioned in BC-Families at all.
There are other problems with the family of Cornelis and Anna Maria; his will states that John was the eldest son, but Isaac is supp. older; there is no bp. in NYDC for Isaac, Cornelius J and Aagtje, while the other children are bp. there, and Cornelis' mother, Hillegond Joris is the sponsor for most of them.4,5,2,1 Married name: Van Sicklen.
