Dirck Brinkerhoff was baptized on 25 February 1629 at Amsterdam (DRC (New Church)) (sp. Jan Dubbels and Anneken Dubbles; father Jores Dirxsz, mother Susanna Dubbels.)1

Konight has a note at the FGS that Dirck is not a son of Joris, but instead the ancestor of the Straut Family (Newsletter 18/4 p.14). However, this Dirck is definitely a son of Joris Dircks and Susanna Dubbels; there might have been another Joris Dircks, who was Straatmaker (and became Straut). BC-Families Straatmaker File has no Dirck Jorisse.2,3
