NJ: Elizabeth (12), Amelia (11), Joseph (9), Anna (7), and Hilda (5). Joseph is 45, b. Prussia; Julia is 37, b. Bavaria.2 The 1900 census lists Kunigunda Fortenbach at Carlstadt, NJ, with two daughters: Josephine Isler (28, b. Jun 1871, NJ, wid.) and Hilda Fortenbach (25, b. Nov 1874, NJ); and four grandchildren: Henry, John and Adolph Isler, adn Charles Hager.1
