Lucinda Veeck died on 3 July 1900 at Denville, Morris County, NJ.5 She was buried in First Presbyterian Church in Rockaway.

The 1860 census lists William M Tuers and Lucy at Rockaway Twp, Morris County, NJ, with Helen Beach (26, b. NJ, seamstress.)2 The 1870 census lists William M Tuers and Lucinda at Rockaway Twp, NJ, with his daughter Cornelia, a house servant Helen Teich (33, b. NJ), and Frank Knight (20, b. PA, laborer). His real property value is $4000.3 The 1880 census lists William M Tuers and Lucy at Denville, NJ, with his niece Eveline Knight (14, b. MD, pres. daughter of his sister Sarah, who died in 1878), and a boarder Andress A. Axtrom (24, b. Switzerland, laborer). Daughter Cornelia, who was age 5 in 1870, is not listed.4 She was Presbyterian. The 1900 census lists Lucy Tuers at Rockaway, NJ, with her sister, Hellen Veeck (58, b. Oct 1841, Canada (Fr). Lucy is listed as widowed, and having no living children.1 Married name: Lucy Tuers.4
