William T VanStone Jr. was a worker at various trades for most of his life but spent his later years as a flagman for the NY Central Railroad.1 They were the only family in Orleans County to send four brothers into the army during World War I. George was a military Policeman while Edwin, William T III and Jennings served in the same squadron. All four were in the 35th Division where Harry B Truman was captain in the artillery.1
