William J. Kievit, of Paterson, an employe of the Belting and Packing company and a resident of Garfield, announces by advertisement that his wife has deserted him. She is living in Lodi with her father, Mr. Constant Van Weele. The couple were married on June 26th of last year and have not lived happily since. Kievit was a widower and has several children, to whom he accuses his wife of having been cruel. He also has another and much more serious fault to find with her, but it is of a private nature. He intends to sue for a divorce.2
