     Johannes Ryckman was born on 25 January 1672.2 He (1) married Catherine Kip, daughter of Jacob Kip and Maria De La Montagne, on 11 July 1697 at New York City (DRC) (He was Johannes Ryckman, jm from N. Albanien, and liv. there; she Catarina Kip, jd from N. Yorck, and liv. here.)1,3,4,5 Johannes Ryckman (2) married Cornelia Van Vleck, daughter of Isaac Van Vleck and Catalina de Lanoy, on 17 June 1717 at New York City (DRC) (Joh's V. Rykman and Cornelia V. Blek.)3,6,7 Johannes Ryckman died before 10 April 1734.8

     Johannes Ryckman and Catherine had two more children, bp. NYDC, who d.y.:
1. Nelletje (bp. 8 Nov 1702; parents Johannes Rykman and Catharina Kip; sp. Abraham Kip and Tryntje Bries; NYDC 2:286)
2. Tobias (bp. 1 Feb 1710; parents Johannes Rykman and Catharina Kip; sp. Samuel Kip, Tobias Rykman, and Margrietje Rykman, wife of Samuel Kip; NYDC 2:343).2,9 Johannes Ryckman and Cornelia had four children, all bp. NYDC (NYDC p.406, 423, 440, 463).10,9 Johannes Ryckman made a will on 10 January 1732/33. It was proved 10 April 1734. He was John Ryckman, of Turtle Bay, on the Island of Manhattan, brick maker. He names wife Cornelia; children Jacobus, John, Tobias, Isaac, Abraham, Samuel, Maria and Cathalina, and children of dec'd son Albert: Albert, Catharine, and Rebecca. Executors: my wife Cornelia, and my brothers, Samuel Kip and Abraham Van Vleck. Witnesses: John Voderhill, Nicholas Sopman, Thomas Tuder.8
