     Frederick B Mabie was born in 1804.¹ He (1) married Geertje Hopper, daughter of John J Hopper and Catryntje Hopper.^2,1 Frederick B Mabie (2) married Clara C.¹

     There are some problems with this couple; he is 20 yrs younger than his wife, and she would have been 66 at the birth of her last child; see BC-Families. Although the age at death fits with Geertje's birthdate, was there a later sister Geertje, and are their dates mixed up?^1,3

     Frederickes Mabie was baptized on 5 February 1782 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC) (no sp. listed.)¹ He married Balitie Brinkerhoff in 1806.^2,3 He died on 18 January 1852 in his 69th yr.² He was buried on 19 January 1852 in North Church Churchyard in Schraalenburgh (Dumont.)⁴
