     Frederick Wortendyke was born on 10 April 1720.^4,5 He was baptized on 10 April 1720 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Jacob Quackenbos and Annetje Quackenbos; father Fredrik Woertendyk, mother Divertje Quackenbos.)^2,6 He (1) married Sara Durie, daughter of Pierre Durie and Judith Demarest, on 3 April 1748 at Schraalenburgh, NJ, (DRC.)^5,7,8 (Banns on 5 March 1748. He was Fredericus Woertendyk, ym, liv. at Tappan; Sara Durje, yd, b. and liv. at Hakkensak.)⁹ Frederick Wortendyke (2) married Margery Ryerse on 25 August 1763.^1,7 Frederick Wortendyke died in November 1797.⁵

     Frederick Wortendyke was born on 15 October 1747.^2,3 He was baptized on 1 November 1747 at Tappan (DRC.)² He married Vrouwtje Demarest, daughter of Cornelis Demarest and Maetje Eckerson, on 2 April 1782 at New York City (with license.)^4,2 Frederick Wortendyke died between 1811 and 1819.³

     Frederick F Wortendyke was born on 9 January 1829 at New Jersey.^1,2 He (1) married Eliza A Wortendyke in 1846.¹ Frederick F Wortendyke (2) married Effie Demarest, daughter of Peter DeBaun and Hester Demarest, on 8 February 1860 at Bergen County, NJ.^1,3 Frederick F Wortendyke died on 8 February 1903 at Janesville, Rock County, WI.^4,1 He was buried on 9 February 1903 in Pascack Cemetery in Park Ridge.^4,2

NY; Effie was 48, b. NJ, parents b. NJ.⁵ His parents were Frederick F. Wortendyke and Cornelia Hogencamp.^1,2

     Frederick F Wortendyke was born in 1831 (1900 census has date as May 1825.)^1,2,3 He married Gertrude Ann Demarest in 1854.¹ Frederick F Wortendyke died on 3 August 1912.^1,4 He was buried in Pascack Cemetery in Park Ridge.⁴

     The 1880 census lists Frederick F Wortendyke and Gertrude Ann, with his son Peter E. (21, b. NJ, workes on farm); his daughter-in-law Sarah (25, b. NY, parents b. England), and his sister Charity F. (50, b. NJ, at home). Frederick is 48, b. NJ, farmer, parents b. NJ; Gertrude Ann is 42, b. NJ, keeps house, parents b. NJ.² The 1885 census lists Frederick F Wortendyke and Gitty Ann at Washington Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Peter E Wortendyke (20-60), Sarah Wortendyke (20-60), Charity Wortendyke (20-60), and Edith Wortendyke (0-5). Frederick and Gitty both 20-60.⁵ The 1895 census lists Frederick F Wortendyke and Gertrude Ann at Washington Township, NJ, with Peter E Wortendyke (20-60), Sarah Wortendyke (20-60), Charity Wortendyke ( over 60), and Edith Wortendyke (5-20). Frederick is over 60; Gertrude 20-60. They are listed twice!^6,7 The 1900 census lists Frederick F Wortendyke and Gertrude Ann at Montvale, Bergen County, NJ, with (in the same house, but different family) Peter E. Wortendyke (41, b. Oct 1858, NJ, farmer), his wife Lizzie (28, b. Jun 1871, NJ, parents b. NJ; m. 2 yrs, 1 child living); and daughters Edith (19, b. Apr 1881, NJ, father b. NJ, mother b. England) and Eslie (5, b. Nov 1894, NY, parents b. NJ). Frederick is 75, b. May 1825, NJ, parents b. NJ; Gertrude is 62, b. Dec 1837, NJ, parents b. NJ. They were married 41 yrs, she is listed as having had no children.³ His parents were Frederick P. Wortendyke and Eleanor (Lana) Banta.¹

     Frederick J Wortendyke was born in 1798.¹ He married Geesje Peek, daughter of Johannes Peek and Elizabeth Forshee, in 1817.¹

     His parents were John F. Wortendyke and Elizabeth Post.¹

     Frederick Jacobse Wortendyke was baptized on 24 January 1680 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Theunis Still and Hillegond Joris; father Jacob Corneliszen Stil, mother Aeltie Fredricx.)^4,5,6,7,8 He married Dievertje Quackenbush, daughter of Reynier Quackenbush and Lysbeth Jans Masten, on 10 June 1709 at New York City (DRC) (Dalrymple and DeWitt seems to have place as Tappan.)^{9,10,11,12,13,1} (Banns on 14 May 1709. He was Fredrik Jacobse Woertendyke, jm from the bouwery; she Divertje Quakkenbos, jd from Albanie, liv. at the bouwery.)¹⁰ Frederick Jacobse Wortendyke died on 19 July 1771 at Tappan, NY.¹

     Frederick Jacobse Wortendyke made a will on 25 November 1747. It was proved 19 Jul 1771. He was Frederick Woertendyck, of Tappan, Orange Co. Names wife Dievertje; sons: Rynier, Jacob and Frederick; daughters: Aeltje, wife of Jan Viiereboorn; and
Claesje. Wife sole executrix. Witnesses: Teunis Blauvelt, of Tappan, farmer; Ysack Ab.

NY) and Charles R (19, b. NJ, clerk, father b. NJ, mother b. NY); and two servants: Maria Davis (24, b. England, parents b. England) and Stephen DeGroot (18, b. NJ, Mul., parents b. NJ). Isaac is 55, b. NJ, lawyer, parents b. NJ; Louisa is 49, b. NY, keeps house, parents b. NY.⁴

     Isaac Wortendyke died 22 Feb 1885 at Midland Park, NJ, leaving widow Louisa H and 3 children: Florence wife of C.J.E. Mastin, Robert N Wortendyke and C. Arthur Wortendyke.¹ His parents were Abraham Wortendyke and Catherine Demarest.⁵

     Jacob Wortendyke was baptized on 16 March 1718 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Pouwlus Hoppe and Aefje Woertendyk; father Fredrik Woertendyk, mother Dievertje Quakkenbos.)^1,2,4,5 He married Maria Haring, daughter of Jan Haring and Amerensje Blauvelt, on 26 September 1764 (license.)^6,7

     Jacob Wortendyke made a will on 8 May 1794. It was proved 3 Jul 1794. Letters of Administration for a Jacob Somerindyke (NYC, laborer) were granted to his widow Miriam on 30 Apr 1792, but this has to be some one else.^3,8 Name variation: Jacob Frederikse Wortendyke.⁶

     Jacob Wortendyke was born on 5 May 1764.^2,1 He married Elizabeth Campbell on 7 December 1792.² Jacob Wortendyke died on 14 December 1858.²

     Jacob Wortendyke was a farmer at Pascack (Park Ridge), NJ.² Name variation: Jacob Reynier(se) Wortendyke.²

     Jacob R Wortendyke was born on 15 January 1869.¹ He married Anna Campbell Traphagen, daughter of Henry Traphagen and Anne Campbell, on 17 October 1900.¹

     Jacobus Wortendyke was born on 28 April 1752.^1,2,3 He was baptized on 18 May 1752 at Schraalenburgh (DRC) (sponsors: Jacob Woertendyck and Elizabeth Vliereboom; father Frederick Woertendyck, mother Sara Durie.)³ He married Sarah Durie, daughter of Albert Durie and Leah Van Orden.^2,4 Jacobus Wortendyke died on 22 September 1797.¹

     Jane Wortendyke was born on 3 January 1807.¹ She (1) married Abram C Westervelt on 3 August 1822.^2,3 Jane Wortendyke (2) married James A Eckerson, son of Abraham Eckerson and Catherine Smidt, on 26 November 1846.^1,4,2 Jane Wortendyke died on 12 March 1883 at Rivervale (Harrington Twp), NJ.⁵ She was buried in Old Tappan Cemetery, aged 76 yrs, 2 mths and 9 ds.¹

     The 1850 census lists James A Eckerson and Jane at Harrington Township, Bergen County, NJ, with five children, all b. NJ: Abraham (18, carpenter), Mary E (15), Jacob (11), Catherine J (9), and Mary M (4.)⁶

     Jane Eckerson (dec'd) died 12 Mar 1883 at River Vale, Harrington Township, leaving 2 children: Frederick A of Weaser Bridge, Idaho Territory, and Mary, wife of Abraham G. Eckerson of Rivervale, NJ, and 4 grandchildren: Cornelia, wife of John Stephens, Perry, Abraham, and Mary, wife of Platt Penny of LI, children of deceased daughter Letty.⁵ Her parents were Frederick Wortendyke and Cornelia Hogenkamp.³ Married name: Westervelt.^2,3 Married name: Eckerson.

     Jannetje Wortendyke was born on 2 September 1750.¹ She was baptized on 7 October 1750 at Tappan (DRC.)¹ She married Michiel Jansz Ryer.^2,3 She died on 31 January 1815 at age 61.4.28.² She was buried in Pascack Cemetery.⁴

     Konight had a marriage date 10 Aug 1816 in Saddle River for Jannetje and Michiel, but that has to be an error. BC-Families did not have a date or place. Michiel Ryer, widower, married Maria Demarest, widow on 10 Aug 1816 in Saddle River.^5,3,6

     John B. Wortendyke died on 21 August 1885 at Midland Park, NJ.¹

     Lea Wortendyke was born in 1775.² She married Jacob Eckerson, son of Thomas Eckerson and Cornelia De Baen, on 12 April 1806 at Paramus (DRC.)¹ Lea Wortendyke died on 15 January 1865 at West Pascack, NJ, aged 80 (cause of death: old age; she is listed as single.)³

     Lutische Wortendyke was born in 1807 at New Jersey.^2,3 She married Cornelius D Blauvelt, son of David Blauvelt and Maria Jacobus Demarest.^2,3 Lutische Wortendyke died in 1882.³

     The 1880 census lists Cornelius D Blauvelt and Lutische at Palisade Township, Bergen County, NJ, with Sarah Fox (68, b. NJ, widowed, servant). Cornelius is 76, b. NJ, farmer; Lutisha is 73, b. NJ, keeps house, paralyzed.² Married name: Blauvelt.

     Margaret Wortendyke was born circa 1845.³ She married David D Eckerson, son of David D Eckerson and Catherine DeBaun, on 21 November 1863 at Pascack, NJ.^1,3

     Maria Woertendyk was baptized on 17 January 1711 at New York City (DRC) (sponsors: Elias Ellesson and Sara Peers; father Cornelis Jacobse, mother Janneke Peers.)² She married James Tucker on 31 July 1728 at New York City (DRC.)³ (James Tucker and Maria Woertendyk; reg. On 29 July 1728.)³

     Martha Wortendyke was born on 22 November 1823.² She married Albert Zabriskie Bogert, son of Cornelis Bogert and Jane Post, in November 1844.^2,1 Martha Wortendyke died on 10 February 1860.²
