     Wessel Wesselse Ten Broeck was born circa 1636 at Munsterland, Germany.1,5,6 He (1) married Maria Ten Eyck, daughter of Conraet Ten Eyck and Maria Boele, on 17 December 1670 at New York City (DRC) (He was Wessel Wesselszen, jm from Wessen, in't Stift Munster; she Marritje ten Eyck, jd from Amsterdam.)1,3,7,8,9 Wessel Wesselse Ten Broeck (2) married Laurentia Kellenaar on 26 September 1695 at Kingston, NY.3,10 Wessel Wesselse Ten Broeck died on 25 November 1704 at Kingston, NY.3

     Wessel is thought to have come at age 23 in Dec 1659 on the ship 'Faith' from Meister(?). He served as Lt. of a troop of horse in 1685 and as a Lt. of a Foot Company in 1700. He was appointed special ambassador to Canada and took the oath of allegiance on 1 Sep 1689 in Ulster County. He also served as Indian Commissioner in 1689.3,11 Wessel Wesselse Ten Broeck lived circa 1671 at Kingston, NY, at the 'Senate House.3'
     His descendants were known as the Kingston Ten Broecks.3 Name variation: Wessel Ten Broeck.
