John Will Woodruff was born on 11 August 1812 at New York.1 He (1) married Maria Litcholt, daughter of Garret Litcholt and Susannah May, on 3 July 1833 at Saddle River, NJ, (Zion Lutheran Church.)1 John Will Woodruff (2) married Ellen Wiggins on 18 September 1863.1 John Will Woodruff died on 21 July 1882 at Paterson, NJ.1 He was buried in Valleau Cemetery in Paramus.1
